Naecken’s Pond Part 1

We begin by taking control of the boy protagonist – Olle. Have him move across the troll’s arms and over to land. Continue down the grass and jump onto the flat-topped mushroom. Then jump forwards and slide on ahead, into a bed of flowers.

Go right and then follow the gnome, who goes further right and then forwards, towards where the deer are. Head down the slope, interrupting the birds as you go, and follow the path to the pond. Here, you will find your ride – a hedgehog contraption with a gnome as your co-passenger.

Go into the pond with the hedgehog and follow the path between the lilypads. Get over on land, but don’t get off the hedgehog just yet. Continue down the next path between the lilypads. When you get to land, get off the hedgehog and jump up on the ledge.

Go up the slope from here, over to where the gnome is, and then continue forwards until you find the dandelion-holders and the sleeping troll. You can’t proceed without the troll’s assistance, but luckily you can wake him up with the help of the dandelion-holders.

Corral the dandelion-holders towards the sleeping troll by running towards them so that they run away from you and towards the sleeping troll. The dandelions will make the troll sneeze and wake up. You only need to get one dandelion-holder near the troll, and remember to wait for the dandelion floaties to get to the troll’s nose.

When the troll offers you his hand, step onto it to proceed.

We come across a crying gnome next. Approach him. Wade into the water and proceed forwards, then take a right and crouch through the roots of the tree. Proceed rightwards till you get to the log that’s serving as a bridge, and cross the log.

When you’re on the other side, your miniature quest will come to a close, and Olle will find himself in a stranger predicament.
