Savior is a promising action game with a ton of options; now on Kickstarter

In Savior, you are out to unite the planet, and that means whacking people, or talking them over to your side, or… dousing them in water?

Starsoft Entertainment has put its in-development game Savior up on Kickstarter, and it’s an ambitious action-adventure about having a divided world come together. You play as Sam, a stranger devoid of memory, who must discover her origins while also saving the world. No sweat.

As an action game, Savior’s combat look smooth and accurate, so that every strike, dodge, and block will be precise. Sam is also pretty handy with her staff, so you can attack in six directions.

What’s particularly interesting, however, is that Savior offers you many more options than just smashing skulls with your staff. Your enemies might be spooked into submission by your impressive moves, or you could talk to them and persuade them to join your side, or debate them, or even win them over with the power of dance.

Finally, there’s a strong element of parkour and platforming as well. Sam will be jumping off walls, grabbing on ledges, sliding and rolling, and so on.
