Stonemachia is a recently released soulslike title developed and published by Crossfall Games. While the game has not attracted huge numbers on Steam, it has been praised by almost everyone who has played it. It launched to fewer than 500 players on Steam, and there are already around 400 reviews.
An impressive 96 percent of Stonemachia reviews are positive, meaning fans have been enjoying the experience so far.
A Brilliant First Notable Game By Crossfall Games

You may not have heard about this studio before, and you cannot really be blamed for that. That is because it was founded recently. The studio is still new, and Stonemachia is its first-ever release. So, it is quite impressive for the developer to release such a strong title as its very first game.
Fans have been singing the praises of this game in the reviews section. As someone who has played the game, I can vouch for those reviews and say that the game is absolutely brilliant. If you are a fan of the soulslike genre, then this is a game for you.
This game is not purely a soulslike experience. That is because it is not as punishing as some of the more famous titles in the genre. The game feels quite balanced, and that is also one of the reasons why Stonemachia is being enjoyed by many players who are not usually into soulslike games.
Yes. This is one of the most original concepts I’ve seen and I’m happy I stumbled across Stonemachia!

It felt like Banjo Kazooie and Crash Bandicoot converged into a chess piece and then was painted into Expedition 33 worldscape with a very solid streamlined action; slash and parry.
The art style has received praise from almost everyone, with many players comparing it to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which is an achievement in its own right. Other than that, the gameplay and the OST are also receiving a lot of love from players.
Very Positive Rating Is Not Surprising

Considering how good the game is, the Very Positive rating is not actually that surprising. Over 96 percent of players have rated the game positively, with some of them even claiming that it is a 10/10 hidden gem.
Another thing worth noting is that the performance of this game is nearly flawless. It runs smoothly across a wide range of setups.
Such an interesting game. Has a really unique art style and design. The combat is fun and engaging with parry and dodge mechanics that build up meter or get a follow up.
