Survival horror game Agony gets delayed; new release date coming soon
25 Mar, 2018
Agony was supposed to release at the end of this month, but the game has now been delayed. Here’s what the devs have to say about it.
After an agonising wait (hehe), Agony was slated to release on 30th March, but it seems that the game’s release has now been pushed forward. According to a post by the devs on Kickstarter and the Steam Community, the game will not be releasing on 30th March. No substitute release date has been announced just yet, but the devs have promised they will announce the release date as soon as possible.
The ‘why’ of the delay is a little vague. According to Madmind Studio, it is “facing last steps including polishing to support every player- no matter which platform – with the best possible experience”.
In related news, the game has received its age ratings (something tells me this one isn’t E for Everyone), and launch languages have been confirmed. They are: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Portuguese and Chinese. If your favourite language is missing, do bear in mind that it might be added in the future.

Agony is a survival horror game set in hell, in which the player is able to possess demons. With no memories of his past, the protagonist must survive and eventually, meet the ‘Red Goddess’. She probably calls the shots around the place.
The game is developed by Madmind Studio in Poland, and is being published by PlayWay.
Agony is expected to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game. Also check out the official website here.
