Agony gets a blood-soaked new trailer highlighting the Red Goddess

Survival horror game Agony takes you into the depths of hell, and your only hope of survival is to possess demons. Have a look at the newest trailer.

With chipped nails covered in caked blood, hellscape simulator Agony is edging towards release, and PlayWay has released a new trailer for it. This time, you get to have a look at the enigmatic Red Goddess character. The trailer doesn’t have much to say, but it certainly adds to the dark and crimson-stained version of hell that’s on show.

We last covered Agony back in 2016, and learnt that the Red Goddess is who you’re going to have to meet in order to make it out of hell. Something tells me that you’re not going to have a leisurely chat with her over a cup of chai, but you never know.

Agony is a survival horror game set in hell, where you play as a man with amnesia who finds himself surrounded by demons and other hellish horrors. As you make your way towards the Red Goddess, you must possess demons and control them.

The game is being developed by Madmind Studio in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The studio is composed of nine developers who have previously worked on triple-A titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Division, Enemy Front and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. The game itself is being developed with the Unreal Engine. Have a look at the studio website here.
