Escape from Duckov has generated a lot of hype, mainly due to its similarities with Escape from Tarkov. Both games have completely different developers, even though their names and themes are similar. The former may also seem like a parody, which works quite well. In terms of gameplay, both titles feature the extraction shooter format, risk-reward mechanics, inventory and gear management, and a progression system.
After plenty of anticipation, Escape from Duckov has finally been released, and it seems to be a big hit. The game launched with 35,000 concurrent players on Steam, and over 90 percent of the reviews are positive.
Quirky Extraction Shooter Becomes A Surprise Hit On Steam

While the game generated plenty of hype and its demo was a big success, many didn’t expect it to perform this well. It launched with 35,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, and 93 percent of its reviews are positive. This indie title has surprised many, as a quick look at Steam shows the majority of players singing its praises. Most fans are genuinely enjoying the experience, with some even rating it a 10 out of 10.
There is no reason why this game should be as polished as it is… Visuals are on point, sound is satisfying and REALLY good. I wasn’t expecting this level of quality. Grab this game, very worth

The game is booming on online platforms, thanks to its unique concept. This kind of idea doesn’t always work, but when it does, it often catches the fandom by surprise. At the time of writing, nearly 8,000 players are actively playing, which is understandable given that the all-time peak occurred over nine hours ago. That said, it’s worth noting that this number is expected to rise over the weekend, as more players hop on after a busy week.
I’d happily buy the EOD (Edge of Duckness) edition if they had it. 10/10 – No scams, no pay to win, games been out for almost 3 hours and it’s already better than its predecessor (EFT). Great work devs!

A Unique Concept That’s Winning People Over

The developers have done an excellent job with this game. The gaming community absolutely loves it when developers listen to their feedback and implement it into the game. This is one of the main reasons why people are so enthusiastic about it. The concept is definitely unique, which is why it is among the best sellers on Steam. In fact, it is currently the third best seller on Steam, just below Battlefield 6 and Fellowship.
While the overall reception is highly positive, many fans are requesting the addition of co-op mode in Escape From Duckov. Aside from that, some players have expressed concerns about the floating camera, noting that there is currently no option to disable it.
