Forager set to release on PC, Mac, and Linux later this month
08 Apr, 2019
Humble Bundle is releasing Forager as soon as next week, but console versions will come later. Here’s a look at the Stardew Valley-inspired title.
Developer HopFrog has announced that its open world exploration game Forager will release on PC, Mac, and Linux this month. The release will specifically take place on 18th April, and the game will be available on Steam, Humble Store, and GOG.com.
Although the game has also been announced for PS4 and Switch, those versions of the game are not ready at present.
Here’s how the developer describes the game:
Forager is an open world, adventure and exploration game inspired by The Legend of Zelda and more modern titles such as Terraria, Stardew Valley & Minecraft.
Players will be able to buy lands to expand and explore a vast world filled with secrets, puzzles, friendly characters and foes. Craft interesting items, build (and defend!) their bases and learn powerful skills and abilities.
Here’s a look at the game’s release date announcement trailer:
The game is based on a jam prototype that has now been expanded into a full game. How expanded, you ask? Have a look:
