Indie Game Releases of the Week: 20th to 26th April 2020
This week in indie games, we have the survival game Help Will Come Tomorrow, cyberpunk delivery game Cloudpunk, puzzle game Filament, and more.
We’re at the head of a fantastic week for new indie game releases, particularly if you enjoy story-heavy games that take you through varied experiences. We’re exploring 1970s Spain, 1917 Russia, a fractured mind, a cyberpunk city, and an abandoned spaceship.
That’s not even counting the honourable indie mentions, where we have a girl with her father’s revolver, a lesbian visual novel set in 1980s Hong Kong, and cryptocurrency investments. And when you’re done with those, you still have the Other Indie Releases to check out, where we’ve assembled a variety of ports, including such games as Sunless Sea and Deliver Us The Moon.

The Shattering

Armed with binoculars, a transmitter, and a camera, he must observe characters from his balcony and aid his journalist accomplice. The game is inspired by Firewatch and is focused on observation and storytelling. It’s from the Austrian developers behind the episodic adventure game The Lion’s Song.
Cloudpunk
23rd April on PC | Trailer
Cloudpunk is a neo-noir cyberpunk exploration game, in which you play as a delivery agent named Rania. Your job is to deliver packages and to not ask what it’s in the package. Sounds simple enough, but over the course of one rain-drenched night, things will change quite a bit. Apart from exploring the city of Nivalis by car or foot, you will uncover a story with diverse characters and lots of cyberpunk juice.
Filament
23rd April on PC, Linux | Trailer
