This week in indie games, we have the puzzle-platformer Hoa, survival horror game Tormented Souls, city builder T-Minus 30, and more.

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is an interactive fiction game about an artist who’s just about to finish her final piece for a gallery submission. A relaxing game about paintings and the stories they tell, it also makes sure you get coffee and breakfast breaks to fuel your artistic energy.

T-Minus 30

T-Minus 30 is a city builder with a post-apocalyptic theme, as you are given 30 minutes to plan a city and build a space fleet on a dying Earth. You must scavenge the environment, build infrastructure, generate power, and set up rockets to rescue as many people as you can, all before the Earth is gone forever.

Baldo: The Guardian Owls

Baldo: The Guardian Owls is an action-adventure game inspired by The Legend of Zelda as well as the films and art style of Studio Ghibli. This fantasy adventure features puzzles, exploration, and combat, and it’s set in a world where a ‘pure child’ must take on a prophecy that threatens grave consequences.

Tormented Souls

Tormented Souls is a survival horror game inspired by the greats of the genre from the 90s, such as Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark. Featuring classic-style forced perspective cameras, you guide protagonist Caroline Walker in a decrepit mansion-turned-hospital, solving puzzles and fighting horrid and dangerous foes along the way.
