Luna The Shadow Dust is a charming, illustrated point-and-click adventure

Luna The Shadow Dust is a wordless point-and-click adventure with some marvellous art. It’s set to release later this year, and has a new trailer out now.

Luna The Shadow Dust is shaping up to be one of the most delightful-looking games of the year, and there’s a new trailer to prove it. The point-and-click adventure features no dialogue whatsoever, relying instead on its hand-animated art to weave a tale of whimsy and fantasy.

Here’s a look at the new trailer below:

Here’s how the developer describes the game:

To light the candle is to cast a shadow.

Behind the veil of reality, lies an enchanted world. When the world lost its balance, it fell upon a boy to take on an unexpected journey.
Until the moon rises again, the order of the world will not be restored. One can not go back in time to correct his mistake.
Whatever happened is irreversible…or is it?

Together with our main character and his mystery friend, players will experience an unique adventure that requires both courage and determination. Enter the ancient tower that stands at the edge of world, help the character bring back his lost memories and find out the darkest secret beyond the tower itself.

Luna The Shadow Dust is being developed by Lantern Studio, which is headed up by artist Beidi Guo. It’s published by Application Systems, and Coconut Island Games.

The game is in development for PC, Mac, Linux, and these versions are expected to release sometime later this year. iOS and Android versions are also planned, but there’s no word on when those will be available.
