19 Mar, 2019
Following its January release on PC, My Time at Portia is headed to consoles in April. Here’s a look at the farming sim and its pre-order bonuses.
Publisher Team17 has announced that My Time at Portia will release on consoles on 16th April, that is to say, in almost a month from now. The game will release both physically and digitally on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
The game can also be pre-ordered for all three consoles, and doing so will net you a “Housewarming Gift Set” full of in-game items. Your character will be able to don a jacket and a pair of ripped jeans, and they will also be able to adorn their home with a statue of a lion with wings, and a cuckoo station clock. You’ll also get the consumable items Rainbow Jelly and Dried Beef, and finally, a good ol’ bag of gold to get you started.

The game is already available on PC, where it spent a good year incubating in Early Access. You’ll find the game on Steam, GOG.com, even on Epic’s newfangled store.
My Time at Portia has been developed by Pathea Games, which has studios in the USA and China. The game takes after village life simulators like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, but with a 3D look. In it, you can create a character and farm, cook, mine, do battle, and also get to know the locals.
