One Finger Death Punch 2 gets re-announced for PC and consoles; new trailer up
One Finger Death Punch 2 is coming to beat up baddies left and right next year. Watch this new trailer and expect the game on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
One Finger Death Punch 2 was announced earlier this year, but Silver Dollar Games has just gone done announced the game a second time. Although the release window is sticking to Spring 2019 as before, the game’s platforms have now been confirmed. One Finger Death Punch 2 will release on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch when it launches next year.
Silver Dollar Games has also released a new trailer for the game, which you can check out below.
One Finger Death Punch 2 mostly sticks to the same beats as the original, but the most notable change in it is that its entire repertoire of 26 skills can be enabled at the same time. Developer Jon Flook likens this to the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, as you will grow increasingly powerful over the course of the campaign.
As before, the spine of the game rests on its two-button combat system, which lets you attack left and right. Enemies will dash at you at a frenetic pace that builds up the better you perform. As far as kung fu action goes, you probably won’t find anything more dynamic or hectic than this.
Here’s what Silver Dollar Games has to say about the game’s current state:
The gameplay is getting refined and I’d say we’re 90% there. It plays better than the first game. It’s fairer and more challenging in a less cheap way.
The original One Finger Death Punch released in 2013 for Xbox 360, but today, it’s only available on PC. Check out the official website here.
