Spin a wheel of fortune to build your own floating island in Piggy Boom
09 Sep, 2016
Piggy Boom is a game of luck in which you spin a wheel for many rewards. You can build your own floating island, or attack other players’ islands, too.
Ever wanted to feel like one of those well-dressed TV game show contestants as they tremble excitedly, waiting to see where the arrow stops on a wheel of fortune? Piggy Boom is a new game from publisher RAFOTECH that offers exactly that sort of experience. It’s a game of building islands using gold acquired from a wheel of fortune that floats commandingly in the sky.
You get a limited number of spins on the all-seeing wheel, and spinning it grants you a bunch of rewards, such as gold, extra spins, the ability to attack and the ability to steal. Gold drives everything in the world of Piggy Boom, allowing you to buy new upgrades for your own, personal floating island. The more gold you earn, the better the stuff you can buy for your island.
But in the time-honoured tradition of games like Clash of Clans, you can not just build your island, but go out and attack other people’s islands, too. Apart from the plain ol’ satisfaction of razing other people’s property to dust, you get gold too, which is a pretty neat deal.
There’s in-game purchases, of course – letting you buy extra currency and spins. You can also get these just by logging in regularly, however. Social media integration and leaderboards (both local and global) allow you to compare your Piggy Boom skills to the rest of your gang (or the whole world).

Piggy Boom is out on Android and iOS. It’s free-to-play, and is currently being featured as a highlighted app on Google Play. The game has been developed by RAFOTECH, which is composed of veterans of Elex Tech, the publisher behind Clash of Kings and Clash of Queens.
