Stories: The Path of Destinies is headed to the Xbox One in a couple of weeks from now. Here’s a look at the storybook-themed action RPG.
Digerati Distribution has announced that it will be publishing Stories: The Path of Destinies when it releases on Xbox One later in March. The action RPG will be hitting the Microsoft Store on 22 March. When it launches, the game will also be discounted by 10 percent for a limited time.
Stories will be specially enhanced for the Xbox One X, allowing for a full 4K resolution when playing on that console. Apart from that, no exclusive features have been announced for the Xbox One release.
Here’s a special trailer for the Xbox One release of the game:
Stories has already released on PC and PS4 in 2016. It was developed by Spearhead Games, a Montreal-based studio founded by Malik Boukhira and Atul Mehra. The former served as the director on the game, while the latter was the producer.
The Xbox One port appears to be handled by Nephilim Game Studios, which has previously worked on console ports of games such as Bleed, Adr1ft, and Shikhondo – Soul Eater.
Here’s what the game’s about, according to the publisher:
Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action-RPG set in a vibrant fairytale universe filled with floating islands, majestic airships, and colorful magic. Reynardo, ex-pirate and unintentional hero, suddenly becomes the last line of the defense against the mad Emperor and his countless ravens. Can he come up with a plan that won’t blow up in his face, for a change?
