VA-11 HALL-A will serve up drinks and waifus on PS4 and Switch in May
Next month, VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action will finally start pouring up sci-fi alcohol on PS4 and Switch. There’s physical versions, too.
VA-11 Hall-A’s console ports were announced all the way back in May last year, but it looks like they’re gearing up for release at long last. According to publisher Ysbryd Games, VA-11 Hall-A will release on 2nd May for PS4 and Switch. No Xbox One version has been announced.
On PS4 and Switch, the game will be priced at $14.99. It will support English and Japanese localisations, with others to follow in the future.
In addition, Limited Run Games will be producing physical editions of both PS4 and Switch versions of the game. Switch players will even have the option of a Collector’s Edition boxset. There’s no details on when the physical editions will be released, but more information is promised later this year.

Here’s a summary of what the visual novel-ish bartending game’s about, according to the publisher:
In a cyberpunk future, capitalist forces drive the corrupt government of Glitch City, a place known for both rapid advancements in technology and a disregard for the ethical quandaries of nanomachine experiments on the general public. Enter VA-11 HALL-A: a hole-in-the-wall dive bar providing solace for lonely souls facing the brutality of daily dystopia.
VA-11 Hall-A originally released in 2016 and is presently available on PC, Mac, Linux, and PS Vita. A sequel to the game, titled N1RV Ann-A has also been announced for a 2020 release.
