Vambrace: Cold Soul pushed by a month, will now release in May for PC

It looks like Vambrace: Cold Soul won’t be meeting its April release date. The game’s initial PC version will now release in the sunny month of May instead.

Vambrace: Cold Soul will no longer be releasing on 25th April, as was previously announced. Publisher Headup Games has announced that the game will now release on 28th May, exclusively on PC.

The game is also planned to release on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. These versions are still on track for a Q3 2019 release.

So what exactly is the hold-up? According to Gematsu, Vambrace: Cold Soul will undergo some fixing following feedback from PAX East and GDC showings.

Vambrace: Cold Soul is a narrative-driven game filled with memorable characters, brutal challenges, and deep strategy. To succeed, you must choose perceptive party leaders, camp to recuperate, navigate strange encounters, and survive deadly combat. Will you scavenge for supplies to sell or use them to craft new items for your next expedition? The surface of Icenaire is cold and unforgiving. So, prepare your party well before departing…lest you join the cursed city’s undead.

Vambrace: Cold Soul is being developed by Devespresso Games, which is based in South Korea and has previously developed the horror title The Coma: Cutting Class. They’re also working on a sequel to that game.

Headup Games is publishing, and you might know them for publishing the point-and-click adventure Truberbrook, which we reviewed recently.
