Resident Evil Requiem was just recently released, and while it is a solid game, fans have been wondering about something. They have been wondering about Leon S. Kennedy’s relationship status since he is already 51 years old. While he does not look close to this age, it is official that Leon is a 51-year-old man.
So, is he married? If yes, then to whom? Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, or even Sherry Birkin? The majority of the fandom ships Leon with Ada Wong and has been wondering whether the two of them are married. Here, I will give you an answer to your question.

Is Leon Married To Ada?
It has been a long time since the fandom started wanting official confirmation about Leon’s relationship. The fandom is divided into two parts. One group wishes for Leon to be married to Ada, while the other wishes for the bride to be Claire, which I believe is fair. Both of these women are great characters and would suit Leon well.
I am Team Ada, so I would be absolutely happy if she were married to Leon. That said, fans did not get any confirmation even in the latest game, which caused some frustration. However, during some cutscenes, a wedding ring on Leon’s finger is visible. Because of this, some rumors started surfacing online that Leon is married to Ada. Apparently, some fans even texted the director, and he hinted that Leon is married to Ada.
Now those messages may look real, but the director has spoken about the situation and poured water on the flames started by Team Ada. He said that he had been called out for screenshots of edited messages, which implies that the messages shared on social media could be edited.
He posted this along with some other stories on his Instagram account. Now he could mean that the messages were edited together in a post since there were more than one screenshot of the conversation. He did not speak much about the topic, so we cannot be too sure. However, Koshi Nakanishi did say that he hopes to announce official news about this soon.
Who Is Leon Actually Married To?
While it is almost confirmed that Leon is married, who he is married to is still unanswered. The latest statement from the director of the franchise has poured water over the recent rumors, so you cannot be too sure right now. As always, fans are going to speculate again since there is no official confirmation.
The developer has not revealed anything yet, and he most likely will not for a while. This is mainly because the fandom that ships Leon with Claire is quite large. Although Team Ada may be bigger, the developer, in my opinion, will not want to anger a massive part of the fandom. Still, I hope that it is Ada who is married to Leon.
