Camping is a cozy activity, and any game that lets you be around nature is sure to make you relax. Campsite Hustle adds a layer of management to that relaxing fun. You have to build your campgrounds from scratch and expand them to build more facilities as you grow your business. Striving to ensure the best service to the visiting campers will be your priority.

Prepping The Land

You can’t build a campground without land, so that’s where you’ll stand from. Your very first plot is given to you for free, but if you were stuck in this small space throughout your gameplay, it would have gotten boring quite soon.
As it turns out, there is ample land to purchase around your starting lot. It does cost money, so you will have an incentive to earn and expand. But you won’t have to worry about that until later, so at the beginning, your focus will only be on improving the facilities on your starting land till you get used to gameplay.

You also need to clear existing trees and stone structures to make room for your buildings. Once you place any structure, the game lets you move it around freely, so you can experiment with your layouts often.
You also need to ensure power and electricity supply on your grounds; otherwise, customers won’t like to visit them. To do this, you will be fueling your generators using gas cans purchased from the gas station. It keeps you active, as managing essential facilities will also be a a part of running a campground in Campsite Hustle.
Building A Campground

Your campers can’t just visit an empty space, so you will need to build picnic or camp sites for them. You will also need to manage ticketing. It was nice to see some attention to detail as you print out tickets for different ages and the period of stay.
Campers also need camp supplies, so you can build a store that sells snacks, medicines and other commodities. The checkout process is fairly simple, and if you don’t want to get stuck tending to customers, you can always hire an assistant.

You can purchase products to sell at your shop from the markets in town. These products are not added to your inventory, and the shops are far from your camp, so to solve this issue, you can reload products in your vehicle. This starts to get repetitive, though, and eventually feels like a drag, but the game rectifies the problem by automating this process through warehouses.
Not all products are unlocked in the shop’s inventory, and you get access to them after reaching certain milestones. This gives you a goal to work towards, and I think limiting inventory during the early game makes it easier to know what to stock as a beginner.
There is also a touch of realism to the game, and not all visitors are nice. You will run into freeloaders who try to stay in your campgrounds without paying, and it’s satisfying to chase them out.
Verdict

The concept of building a campground in gaming is fun, one that is not often explored. The management aspect of Campsite Hustle is matched with the cozy setting, although the gameplay is a bit clunky at some points.
