Lost and Found Co. is a hidden object game that follows Ducky and Mei as they start their small company to help people find their lost belongings. The game contributes to the genre by introducing many new features and gameplay mechanics. The result is a creative game that isn’t merely a search-and-click.

Getting Lost in the Funnies and References
Each stage of the game is very busy, and there are a lot of fun things you will discover, even if you aren’t looking for the objects you are supposed to find. You will find many quirky characters indulging in their silly tasks and their daily life, and you can’t help but laugh at some of the funnier situations happening around.
There are also so many hidden references to other media. You may even find characters and objects that were a part of your childhood games or movies, which can be an endearing experience. It’s not often that you find Michael Jackson, Batman and Catwoman references in cozy games.
Finding More and More Stuff
You won’t simply be looking for these iconic characters just for your own fun, though. Finding them will give you an ‘Instapix’, which increases your popularity. Interestingly, the game adds various side quests, which are set in various locations, such as a friend’s house or a family farm. You are required to complete a few of these to gain popularity and unlock the stages of the main story.
To clear a stage, you will be looking for a set of items; sometimes, if you are following a quest, more items will unlock in the chain that you need to find. Some stages have different acts, so they take much longer to finish.
Riddle Me This
You won’t simply be looking for items cluelessly – if you click the item from the bar at the bottom of the screen, you will be given a hint as to where the item is located. This hint is often presented as a riddle which you need to decipher.
In later stages, you might wish for an easy mode because they do get more complicated. I do think that the game could be more accessible with difficulty modes, as looking for a walkthrough in a lost and found game ruins the fun a bit. However, the game doesn’t force you to complete Hard side quests or tough optional tasks.
Verdict
Lost and Found Co. is a cozy game, so you won’t need to pull your hair if you can’t figure something out. Taking your time with it and exploring the stage to find items is more relaxing.
