Thrifty Business lets you manage your secondhand shop, which caters to a variety of quirky customers. The gameplay is fairly simple, so more than your business skills, you have to show your sense of categorizing items around the shop. There are several categories of products, and you can store them in a neat way around your store while also maximizing your profit.

The Art of Unpacking

A major portion of your gameplay would revolve around unpacking boxes and storing items in the shelves. You will need to do it as efficiently as possible to display as many items as you can. You will have an inventory to store additional items which you can’t seem to fit anywhere at the moment.
There are various kinds of shelves aimed at storing objects of different sizes. You get racks to store small objects, tables to store huge objects, and railings to store clothes and shoes. To make your store look lively, you can place decorations or change the wall and floor to match a particular theme. It’s fun to categorize items into various sections in your shop to make it look neater.
The variety of items is huge in every category, so your experience with the game also stays fresh, and you are also excited to open each box to see what it might contain. From household goods to camping supplies, your thrift store can house a huge collection of products.
Catering To Special Requests

What makes the gameplay of Thrifty Business more fulfilling is the addition of customer requests. You get a feeling of achievement after completing your goal of selling the correct item. The products are found in boxes of various categories, and you have to guess where you can find them. Though if you fail to do so, you can just fast-forward the day instead of waiting a long time.
The chance of an item appearing is random, but you can just keep stocking similar boxes till you get it. You can acquire boxes from the shop menu, although there could have been more depth here if we could acquire boxes through other ways, such as exploring the town and meeting new people ourselves as well.
Sometimes, your customers will also require you to host special events. These also include the demand for specific events, and you get to progress the character’s story.
Building A Thrifty Castle

I like that you aren’t stuck in a small space throughout your gameplay. Shop expansion and inventory expansion can help you build a castle selling thrifty items. This also lets you categorize your shop into various sections and avoid clutter. If you stock too many items within a single category, you will get additional profit bonuses.
If you keep the shop clean and your customers happy, you will also get community points to unlock more decor. There are several cards you can find of different themes, which also unlock wallpaper and flooring.
