Woodo is a cosy diorama-building game where you follow the story of Foxy and Ben and their summer adventure. As you keep building scenes, the story is told to you in a storybook fashion. You can spend hours placing the correct blocks in the interactive stages of the game.

The Interactive Levels

I always love it when a game pays extra attention to the small details. You won’t simply be placing blocks to complete a level; you will be immersed in the stage and its interactive elements. There are scenes hidden in objects, and these add more meaning to what’s happening around.
At times, the game will challenge you as well, as it can be harder to figure out where you are supposed to place the tinier objects. You won’t pull your hair though, as the game’s hint system will zoom in on the location where the piece will go.
Balanced Difficulty

You will need to zoom and pan all around the stage to solve a diorama. Since the stages are so interactive, you might need to wait for the object to become visible in the scene. Sometimes, by solving puzzles and building mini-scenes within a stage, you will get additional pieces to complete the level.
The earlier stages are quite easy and straightforward, but the game increases the difficulty gradually instead of presenting a sharp spike. You will use what you learned to solve previous stages and then apply it to the next stage.
At first, you are given all pieces required on a tray, but on later levels, you will find pieces scattered across the stage and place them where they belong. Some objects are hidden behind other objects, and you will also need to rotate and spend some time with a stage to figure it out.
Fun And Cozy

The game follows the story of Foxy, a girl who is more accustomed to using a phone than going outside and having fun, but that changes when she meets Ben. The two of them have exciting adventures, and Foxy has a summer to remember.
The story is well-paced across stages, with Foxy starting out in the summer home, facing challenges outside and then eventually meeting Ben and getting to know him. While playing, you can feel the characters deeply, as some of their stories may feel relatable to many of us.
Similar characters like the geese, bull, ducks, and fishes are repeated throughout, so you will have no trouble building them again in another stage, because you would be familiar with their design.
Verdict

Woodo really adds a lot of depth to each of its stages, which can let you spend hours building a stage. The summer adventure setting also adds to the cozy vibes of the game.
