S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters: The dungeon crawler that puts your math skills to the test

S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters will test your math calculation skills, as you’ll have to solve maths problems to beat its very uncool monsters.

S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters is a simple math game that’s easy to pick-up, but hard to master, made for all ages. You can play it on Nintendo Switch, Android and Steam (coming soon).

The World

You start off as an Adventurer,  a well balanced Hero ready to clear the world of some very Uncool Monsters. These monsters can only be defeated by solving the math problems they present.

You progress in the world by clearing Dungeons, unlocking new areas and taking on even harder dungeons.

Later on, you’ll be able to unlock new Heroes, like the Thief, Paladin, Wizard and more! They all have different Abilities and Stats. The Adventurer will deal super damage if you manage to get same numbers in a row. The Wizard will create a Fireball if you have five 5‘s or seven 7‘s in your inventory!

Gameplay

You have several random numbers at your disposal and there can be multiple solutions to the equation. Choosing which tiles to pick is crucial from a tactical perspective, as these tiles can form special attacks if laid out correctly!

The math problems can be as simple as: [?] + [?] = 9, to which the answer could be 1+8, 2+7, 3+6 and so on. It all depends on what numbers you have in your inventory!

It can also be a bit more difficult: [?] x [?] + 6 = 24 (The answer could be 9 x 2).

The operators are Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Dungeon can be either one of these operators, or a mix of them.

S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters also has a Practice Mode without timers or penalties, if you feel like you need more time to figure out the problems. There is also an Endless Mode where you fight enemy after enemy until you fall!
