Smighties Universe now lets you collect digital Smighties characters

Reality Gaming Group has introduced Smighties Universe, where you can collect blockchain-powered, one-of-a-kind Smighties.

Smighties Universe from Reality Gaming Group is now available online, and it lets you collect characters from the Smighties franchise to own. What does I mean by ‘to own’? The Smighties you collect will be tokenized on the blockchain with a ‘Non-Fungible Token’. Your Smighties are always, indefinitely, owned by you. They also cannot be copied, so the ones you have might just end up very valuable.

Each Smighty has its own personality (viewable on the website’s Smightypedia), and each one has its own, individual power. Whether it’s reversing gravity, summoning pirate ships, speaking every language, or even making a lot of money, Smighties seem to be able to do it all. They’re also assigned stats and element, making each one special. The Smighties are also categorized into five rarities, from Normal ones, through Extraordinary, and up to Epic.

The developers have more plans for Smighties Universe down the line, including a marketplace where you can buy and sell Smighties, as well as upcoming games that will let you put your owned Smighties to use. In the coming weeks, Smighties Universe will also be translated into a range of languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

Right now, though, Smighties Universe offers you a hotel of your own to manage. Just like your Smighties, you can also collect hotel floors of various rarities, from the humble lobby and café up to the luxurious penthouse suite and Pharaoh’s palace. Your collected Smighties will inhabit the hotel floors you pick.

You can grab Smighties now by purchasing pods at the store, which range from the Bronze Pod at $4.99 up to the Diamond Pod at $49.99.
