Tiny Archers gets a new update and endorsement by racer Norbert Nagy

Tiny Archers is getting a major update that adds new features and languages to the game. Helping promote it is Hungarian racing driver Norbert Nagy.

It’s only been 3 months since Tiny Archers got its tiny bows out and started shooting the baddies in the face. Within this time, however, the game has become a major success, securing over one million downloads between iOS and Android. It’s even got a very favourable scores: 4.5 out of 5 on iOS and 4.4 out of 5 on Android. Developers 1DER Entertainment aren’t stopping there, though.

The studio has pushed out a new update, this one adding the option to flip the tower to the right side of the screen. Apart from a number of bug fixes, there’s also new languages being added into the mix: Russian, Spanish, French and Chinese. According to the developers, there will be new levels added soon as well.

One rather high-profile fan of this indie game is Hungarian racing driver Norbert Nagy, who is apparently a friend of the developers. He has agreed to sport an image of the game’s lead character on his car, and even more collaborations are planned for the future. That’s his car in the picture above, complete with the Tiny Archers imagery.

Tiny Archers

So what’s Tiny Archers, you ask? It’s a mobile archery game in which you use only your left thumb to aim and fire your (tiny) arrows at invading goblins and orcs. It’s a lot more high-wire than it sounds, as the enemies attack from five different directions, and on five layers of attack, which means you’d best keep your quiver ready.

You can get Tiny Archers from the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS. Keep in mind that you’ll need either an Android 4.1 or iOS 6.0 device or later to play.
