TinyBuild announces 4 new games, including a TV news censorship sim
30 Aug, 2019
Publisher tinyBuild is at PAX West and it’s showing off four new games across genres. It’s also got news on Pathologic 2 and SpeedRunners.
PAX West is on, and indie publisher tinyBuild has wrapped up a press conference in which it has revealed updates on existing games, and also shown off new games signed onto its label. tinyBuild has previously published such games as Graveyard Keeper (our review), Pathologic 2, Hello Neighbor, and Party Hard.
First, let’s get the new games from tinyBuild out of the way.
Coming from Moscow-based Hungry Couch Games, Black Skylands is a top-down shooter set in an open world that you can explore with an airship. You can explore both on foot and by air, and there’s RPG elements involved like having a range of weapons and upgrades. It’s coming to PC sometime in 2020.
Not For Broadcast
Not For Broadcast comes from NotGames, which is based in Woking, England, and it’s about managing a TV newsroom in a dystopian version of the 1980s. You’ll have to decide what gets censored and what gets shown to the public, and you even get to pick the ads. Although there’s no release date on the full release, the game will hit Early Access on 11th November.
Once Upon a Time in Roswell
A straight-up psychological horror game, Once Upon a Time in Roswell comes from Bournemouth, England-based studio Quarter Circle Games. This is the new title of what was revealed to us as The Peterson Case last year. Expect scares and spookiness when this game comes out sometime in late 2020 for PC and consoles.
Rawmen comes from Los Angeles-based studio Animal, and it’s uh… look, it’s got nearly-naked men, it’s got soup, and it’s got multiplayer for 2-8 folks. This combined insanity is expected to release sometime in 2020 for PC.
