Carimara: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs is an eerie narrative-horror adventure — you play a mute, Carimara who uses card-based questioning to pry secrets from a grief-stitched house and its odd inhabitants. The game is short but dense with twists, secrets, and a handful of obscure solutions, so this Into Indie Games walkthrough will focus on the one-hour run-through while pausing to show the specific card choices and clues that unlock alternate outcomes. Expect a clear, step-by-step route for the core ghost exorcism puzzle, callouts for optional curios and secrets, and brief commentary on how different lines of inquiry change what you learn — perfect for readers who want to savor the atmosphere without missing anything essential.
After the introductory cutscene, you will be holding a Carimara card.

If you look up to the right, you can collect the card for Bagdolls. Use the card on the Old Lady.

She will ask you to go the cellar and then you can ask her questions.

Ask her about the topics on hand. She has a ghost problem and she has hired you, a Carimara to solve it. After the conversation, head to the cellar. It’s the door on the right under the stairs.

Head down the cellar stairs and pick up the Wooden Statues card.

The path to the right is blocked. Take the path to the left and navigate till you reach the hallway with the frogs.

At the end of the path you can pick up the Forlore card.

Ask the Forlore about the Old Lady and eventually use the Bagdolls card on it. This will anger it. The ghost will knock you out and the Old Lady will take you upstairs. Sleep it off and once you wake up, head outside. Pick up the Shed card on the left of the Old Lady.

Use the Forlore card on her. She will confirm that is the ghost. Ask here about the Shed and the Wooden statues. Leave and pick up the Rosehip card from the left of the shed.

Pick up the Owl card from atop the door.

Speak to the Owl and then talk to the Old Lady about the Owl. Apparently, her name is Pansy. You can also ask her about the Rosehip. Go back to the Owl and talk to it about all the cards you hold.

You find out the Old Lady is called Violet. It will also tell you that Dormice loves Rosehips and that the Shed smells of death. Once the conversation is over, head back into the house and go back down to the cellar, stop right before the door and check underneath the stairs for a Chest box card.

Head down to the cellar. Take the left path past the Stork carving and through to the hallway with the Frog carving. You will be back at the Forlore’s location. Last time, the Forlore asked you some questions – Who was I? Who killed me?. You have to solve this mystery.

You can ask it a couple of questions, but if you ask three wrong things, it will knock you out again. Head back up and ask Violet about the Chest Box. Ask the owl the same thing – there is something hidden in the chest. If you go up to the bedroom, you will find a Suspicious Hole on top of the bed. Getting the card will cause a hand to appear and knock you out.

Go back up and use the Rosehip card on the hole.

The Dormouse will appear and you can collect the card. Speak to it and then go back down. Ask the Owl abou the Dormouse. Next, ask Violet abou thte Dormouse and she will tell you how to get in the Shed. Go to the left of the Shed and you can enter through a missing plank on the wall.

Pick up the Dead Dormouse card from the floor. Next pick up the Garden Tool card. Through the back door you can find an Owl Statue card.

On the right, under the giant tree you can find a Grave card.

Go back into the yard and speak to Violet about the Dead Dormouse, Garden Tool and the Grave. She will tell you that the key to the Chest is hidden above the fireplace.

Get the Key card from above the fireplace.

Open the Chest Box with the key and pick up the Lavender card.

Ask the Owl about everything you know now. Speak to Violet about Lavender. She won’t answer. Go back to the Forlore. For the question “Who was I?” pick Lavender.

For “Who Killed me?” pick Dead Dormouse.

For “What Killed me?” pick Owl Statue.

You can now watch the ending. Lavender was killed by a Dormouse when it threw a Owl Statue at her head.
That concludes our walkthrough for Carimara: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs.
