Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit – Tips, Earning Money, Guides, And Walkthrough

You play as a spirit scout in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, and apparently, you have gotten lost from your group. You find yourself helping out the spirits and completing quests. This will unlock new areas and features as you progress in the game.

Starting Out

You will start by finding a campfire. Talk to Orsina, pick up spirit wood, which is a transparent branch and feed it to Flamey. The core gameplay will focus on collecting spirit wood by completing quests for the spirits and other friends.

Orsina will ask you to find Bradley, and you can recognise him as he’s a bit worn in the crowd. Find a spirit nearby, pick up pencils and place them on the altar to unlock Bunch.

Tip

Follow the questlines by visiting the characters you have unlocked and checking if they have a quest for you.

How To Get A Hose

Pick up mourning flowers and place them in the altar of regret. You will find the webcam memento in the first area, so find it and offer it at the altar next to it. You are given the hint that match the color of the object with the altars.

You will unlock Kyli. You will also get a power washer. To use it, equip the hose from the bag and use it over the black building. This will unlock the crafting machine. Use the hose at other blackened structures in the camp to earn coins, sparks and imp essence.

Tip

You can use coins in the candy dispenser to get hints for hidden objects, but use them only when you really need them because you don’t have many coins in the beginning. If you check leaf piles, you will find often items that characters require for quests.

How To Cook

Feed the spirit log to Flamey. Find three leaf piles and return to Bunch. He will then ask you to bring roasted mushrooms, which you can cook on Flamey. Just tell it that you want to burn something. You can make spices and roasted ingredients for advanced cooking.

Flamey then tells you about root vegetables and how items have tags to divide them into categories in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit. You can dig up the potatoes, he asked, using the shovel. Bunch will give you an animal charm. If you place it anywhere in the campgrounds, a bird will spawn. If you feed the bird, it drops spirit bird essence.

As you complete Bunch’s quests, you will unlock the cooking station. You can craft complex recipes using the resources you burned using Flamey.

Tip

Tags are helpful if you are looking for something particular in the game, as there are specific ways to acquire different kinds of items. Rooted vegetables are dug, and you can forage and fish, and harvest other products.

How To Fix The Crafter

Talk to Kyli again; he mentions a seller named Kit, who can sell you a cog to fix the broken crafting machine. The seller can be found towards the north. Kyli will need some time to repair the crafter after you hand in the part.

Tallow’s Cabinet

After you have fed enough spirit logs to Flamey, you will also unlock Tallow’s cabinet, which keeps your collections. You may find rare items just lying around the camp, or you can dig them up. You will earn presents such as coins if you donate.

Tip

Donating to Tallow is the fastest way to earn many coins during the early game.

How To Light Up Other Areas

After completing the previous quests, Bunch will then give you a lamp. You have to place it within the range of the already lit areas, and it will light up nearby areas. This will also reward you with some coins. Completing the quests of spirits will also fill up the area around them with color.

Tip

Complete more Bunch quests to get lamps. You may even get lamps as a reward from the mailbox after you unlock that feature. You can also purchase them if you have enough coins.

How To Craft A Water Pump

After the crafter is repaired, Kyli will teach you how to craft a water pump. You need softwood for that, which you can craft using some branches. After you complete the quest, Kyli will reward you with some basic recipes.

How To Catch Bugs

There is a cave in the newly unlocked area, which is Orsina’s Hideout. You will get a net, so catch any three ground critters and bring them back.

Orsina will then give you the quest to find three red flags. Chase the imps with the yellow hat and interact with them, and they will drop it.

How To Mine Ores

After completing the previous Kyli quests, he will take a look at your bus. He then gives you a pickaxe to mine some iron. You will spot rocks with tiny white minerals sticking out. Go near them with your pickaxe in hand and harvest these.

You can then use Flamey to burn the iron ore into iron ingots.

How To Unlock Kumari And Mail

You need to place three mementoes at Kumari’s altar. You can find the teapot on the imp on the beach with Kyli, and you can also find the sprout memento within a stick pile. The last one is found on a purple imp found below Kumari’s area.

The mail feature will be unlocked, and you can get some presents delivered to you. Check your mailbox daily to get presents.

Tip

If your backpack is full, you can put some items in the storage after talking to Flamey.

Sell Or Recycle Extra Items

Never throw away your items. You should sell any extra items you don’t need to Mr Kit to make money. You can also recycle items you don’t need and convert them into useful materials.

How To Get And Change Clothes And Hairstyles

After you unlock Kumari and complete some of her quests, you will shortly meet Ms Carouse. You can craft some decorations or purchase clothes from her.

Mr Kit also sells some clothes and hairstyles. You can check out the collection of your clothes at Tallow’s Cabinet, and you can change your clothes here.

How To Feed Hungry Imps

Imps are shy and will disappear if you try to interact with them. You can see if they are craving something from the thought bubble over them. Don’t get close to them; instead, hold the item in your hand and throw it near them.

They will eat the product if you shoot at them correctly, and a heart symbol will appear. Interact with them so they drop the item they are holding. You can use the candy dispenser to find out which imp has Bunch’s tray.

Tip

If no thought bubble appears, you will just need to wait. You can gather items in the meantime, so you are ready to feed them.

How To Repair The Hot Mess Bus

To repair the bus, you need Robust Bus Gear, Bus Parts, and Astral Essence. Bus parts are lying around the campgrounds, so just grab them. Astral Essence is obtained after you collaborate with Astral projections to harvest items.

Mr Kit has the bus gear, but you need to upgrade his shop first. You can purchase the store upgrade catalogue from him for 2000 coins. You will need to wait for him to restock.

How To Increase Inventory Space

You can purchase additional slots for your bag from Mr Kit by purchasing extra pockets upgrade. You can purchase another one the next day if you want to increase it further.

How To Get Fishing Rod

Keep on completing Kyli’s quest in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit until he asks for some wire. You can find that near the cooking station in Bunch’s area. Hand it over to Kyli, and he will reward you with a fishing rod.

Cast your hook near the fish, and wait for it to get hooked. You will have to press the interact button quickly when it does, and then just hold the button till it gets reeled in.

Tip

Try throwing your skipping stones at the clams to get gems.

How To Use Bone Maps

You can gather bone map pieces after digging up the X spots in the ground. Once you have five of them, head to Ms Carouse and craft the Bone Map.

Use it while you move around. When you are near the hidden X mark, you will see a flame icon. This flame icon gets bigger the closer you get. When you find spot, the mark will appear and you can dig it to get rare resources.
