Sides And Objectives
There are two teams, the Ottoman Attackers and the British Defenders. You can choose any team that you want to be in as soon as you join the game. There’s a button to switch teams in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Note that you won’t be able to switch teams if the other team has more players than your current team. Aside from completing the main objective of claiming the Headquarters, you can also do support or team-specific tasks to strengthen your position.

Once you’ve selected the team, you’ll have to pick the spawn location. It is usually near the current objectives, such as the Headquarters or the support point.
Click on the location that you want to spawn in. You’ll have to do so every time that you respawn. As you lose or gain sectors, the spawn location may change.

For the objectives, you have multiple sectors in each map. You’ll find an HQ in each sector. You’ll have to overwhelm the area for a duration until the Headquarters falls under your control.
If you’re trying to reclaim the Headquarters, you’ll have to follow the same strategy. Get rid of the enemy forces and overwhelm the area until the bar fills to claim it.
After some time, the sectors will be completely secured, and then the objectives will shift to another sector until victory has been decided.

Teams
Each side in the game has five different teams. Each team has a different role and classes. For a 25-player side, each of the five teams can have five members each.
You can change the teams before respawning, provided that the team has space for another player.

Each team has a unique role, and as the player, you’ll have to fill it. The support teams usually focus on supporting the assault and infantry sections by providing stretchers, ammo, and clearing obstacles and scouting enemy forces.
The assault and infantry sections focus on dealing with the enemy forces with help from the supporting factions. Your choice of team also affects your objectives, such as building beacons, infiltrating certain positions, etc.

Classes
There are multiple classes on each faction. Note that the classes are divided across the entire team and have limits. For example, there can only be one or two snipers, depending on the number of players in your team.
Your choice of class affects your miscellaneous items, weapons, and kits. Each of which can be changed depending on the situation.

Support classes have different, less powerful weapons, such as handguns, but have access to other support tools.
The officer class can call down bombardments, but cannot use a rifle. Each class has its own unique perks and drawbacks, and you’ll have to find the one that suits your playstyle the best.
Class and teams go hand in hand. Make sure you pick a class that fits your team. Don’t forget that you can change either before respawning again anywhere on the map.

Environmental Objects And Constructions
As you progress towards claiming a sector, you’ll find that there are plenty of structures that you can build, such as cover spots, wire fences, etc.
Support classes are more effective at such tasks. Note that if you walk into a wire, you’ll immediately get injured. The game features wire cutters, and you’ll have to use them to cut the path open.

Building defensive constructions can easily give you the upper hand in both offense and defense, while also drastically slowing down the enemy. You can spot the locations where you can build stuff by the green highlighted spots.
As you play, you’ll have to use the environment and terrain to your advantage. Use the trench to hide from upcoming enemies and take cover before attacking a group of unsuspecting enemies.

Healing And Being Healed
Most of the time, a single shot is what it takes to deliver you back to the respawn area, but sometimes, you may survive after getting injured if the shot is not clean.
In that case, you can press B on the keyboard to equip the bandages and use them on yourself to stop the bleeding. Note that getting injured or bleeding reduces your movement abilities and gun control.

If you become downed after taking significant damage, you can call for help. This will alert the nearby allies of your situation, and they may choose to revive you if it’s safe. If you know no one is coming, you can choose to let go and respawn in another location.
Likewise, if you see an ally that has become downed, you can approach them to revive them. Equip the bandages and use them on the downed ally to revive them.

Weapons
There are three main types of weapons: Rifles, Snipers, and Handguns. Snipers are only available to the Sniper class, but Rifles and Handguns can be used by multiple classes.
Each Rifle has different stats. Some have a better firing rate, while the others have better control. You also have to take the ammo capacity into account.

These are old WWI guns, so reloading them also takes a significant amount of time. Make sure you’re in a safe spot when you try to reload.
Like every other FPS, you can switch to your handgun faster than reloading, so you have that option as well if it’s available.

General Strategy
Try to stick with your teammates. Camping is also a viable option in this game, but you have to keep an eye on all the possible incoming locations for the enemy, as the map is huge and interconnected.
Pick a spot and take cover alongside your allies. Once the area is clear, slowly advance towards the objectives. After the objective is secured, hold your position once again.

If you’re killed, try to get back into position, but also keep an eye on the enemies along the way. The terrain and the kit help mask the enemy forces.
If you’re not playing a spotter or a sniper, it can get difficult to find enemies amidst all the dust and chaos, so you’ll have to pay close attention.

Stay completely still while firing, as any sort of movement can disturb your aim and the weapon’s control. Learn from your mistakes.
If the competition in online lobbies feels like too much, you can always set up an offline or custom lobby with bots to practice, and once you’re confident enough, you can head in and wreak havoc in the online matches.
