Grime II is the sequel to the acclaimed 2021 action-adventure metroidvania. Set in a different land in the familiar Grime universe, you play as a Formless with the ability to absorb the creatures you encounter and summon their molds to aid you in both combat and exploration.

Part 1 – Birthplace, Temple of Hands & Bound Shell

You begin in the Birthplace and must navigate the halls of the Temple of Hands. Our goal, at least at this point, is only to feast and absorb.
Part 2 – Escaping the Temple of Hands & Mudfalls

We’ve unlocked some new abilities and have taken down the main boss of Temple of Hands. Escaping the zone, we reach Mudfalls, where we make some new allies.
Part 3 – The Faceless Mountains

Exploring the muddy landscapes of Mudfalls, we run into Manzil, who requested we deliver something to the Breathsmith at Kankan. But to get to the town, we must make our way through the Faceless Mountains.
Part 4 – Marah’s Orchard & Unlocking the path to Kankan

We’ve made it past the Faceless Mountains and unlocked a new ability for ourselves. Kankan lies just beyond Marah’s Orchard, but there are some things to be done before we can head through.
Part 5 – Kankan, Greatblade Preacher & The Breathsmith

We’ve finally made it to the town of Kankan and secured an entry by completing the Mountainborn’s request. Now all we have to do is find the Breathsmith and deliver the item that Manzil sent.
Part 6 – Underheads

The meeting at Manzil’s House gave us a new set of objectives: to find the three components to forge a weapon. The closest of the three components is to the southwest, past the tunnels of the Underheads.
Part 7 – Dregbourg

We’ve managed to make our way to Dregbourg. The first of the three components is close by, but we need to unlock a couple of abilities before we can grab it.
Part 8 – Nailglade & Entering Blade Garden

With Anvilhead defeated, we’ll return to the Nailglade Town Outskirts and see what lies ahead. We still have two more components to pick up before we can craft the weapon that Manzil talked about.
