Welcome to Into Indie Games’ walkthrough hub for Kill the Shadow.
Kill the Shadow is a detective game where every choice you make can change the fate of the characters you meet throughout your journey. You play as Lucas, a former police officer navigating a vibrant 2.5D world, solving cases by uncovering clues and helping the people caught in the middle of them.
The game features multiple endings, and even seemingly small decisions can create major ripple effects across the story. In this walkthrough hub, we’ll guide you through our playthrough, explain the choices we made, and share the reasoning behind those decisions so you can better understand how they shape the narrative.

Part 1 – The Factory
The game starts at the Police Station, where Lucas receives a mysterious letter written on a medical gauge from someone named Lynn DaHandt. Fast-forward to the present: it’s your last day at The Factory in the North as you prepare to head to the South. But the relationship between the two sides is tense, and there are a lot of mysteries to uncover before you can move on.
Part 2 – Pig Cage Walled City (Beginning to The Forged Suicide Note)
After the standoff at the blockade and learning more about the factory workers, Lucas finally sets off to the North. He arrives at the Pig Cage Walled City in search of Uncle Smith. But it doesn’t take too long for him to get pulled into the power struggle within the city.
