Disclaimer
This walkthrough describes my personal run of No, I’m not a Human in which I achieved the Good Ending. Due to the randomized and choice-dependent nature of the game:
  • Your experience may differ: certain characters might behave differently, show different signs, or be Visitors in your game and not in mine.
  • Some clues I used may not appear or may be less obvious in your version.
  • Some dialogue options and outcomes depend on prior choices, including who you let in, who you rejected, and how often you checked for signs.
Use this guide as one possible path. It shows one way to win — but your path to the Good Ending might require different decisions based on what the game throws at you.

Complete Night-by-Night Walkthrough Guide

When I first started the game, I sat back and watched the prologue play out, setting the mood.

Prologue

Meeting Your Neighbor

Once I finally had control, I went straight to the door to see who was there. It was my neighbor.

Neighbor at kitchen door in No I'm Not a Human prologue introducing game mechanics

I greeted him and asked how his wife and daughter were holding up. He stepped into my kitchen like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Learning the Basics

I checked the windows next, but there was nothing out there, just an eerie quiet. None of the other doors would open, so I headed to my bedroom.

I clicked on the bed, lay down, and let the day end. The news played before I drifted off, filling me in on the state of the world.

When I woke up, I noticed two energy bars glowing in the corner of my screen. I got up and checked the radio on the table.

I carefully rotated the knob until the garbled message cleared, then listened to the emergency broadcast. After that, I went to the kitchen.

When I asked why I should let strangers into my house, my neighbor explained the core mechanic of the game: always let others know I was not alone.

I asked why it was so important to have other people around. He told me I needed to check everyone for signs of being Visitors and that doing so would drain my energy. Chatting with them, though, did not cost anything.

When he was done talking, I grabbed a beer from the fridge and went to bed, trying not to think too hard about what tomorrow would bring.

Night 1: First Encounters and Guest Decisions

When night fell again, I went to the door.

Neighbor’s Daughter

This time, it was the neighbor’s daughter standing there. She looked shaken. I asked her dad’s name, how she managed to get here safely, and wished her luck before promising to go get her father for her.

Tall Stranger

After she left, I checked the door again and found a tall stranger waiting.

I asked if he was a Visitor, why he had been kicked out of his previous shelter, and eventually invited him in. He stepped inside quietly. I checked the door again, just to be sure.

Tall Stranger confirmed human guest in hall area Night 1

Disjointed Woman

Now there was a woman outside, claiming Visitors had driven her out of her home.

I asked her how she ended up here, what she thought was going to happen, and finally told her she should leave. Something about her story felt off, so I did not let her stay.

Psychic Lady

When I opened the door again, a psychic woman was there. I told her thanks for dropping all that information on me so quickly and let her inside.

Before sleeping, I made sure to check the windows again. They were still quiet. Then I went to bed. The news that night gave me my first clue about spotting Visitors: perfect white teeth.

I turned the radio back on and learned I could now send in photos of eyes, teeth, and fingernails to verify whether someone was human or not.

I headed to the hall and found the tall stranger sitting there. I checked his teeth, which drained one energy bar.

Then I went to the kitchen and examined the psychic woman’s teeth.

I left her alone after that and checked the phone in the living room. I could talk to my neighbor or order groceries.

I saw I could buy energy drinks or coffee, but I did not need them yet, so I headed to bed.

Night 2: New Detection Methods Unlocked

When the next night came, the first knock at the door was from a delivery guy because I had ordered something earlier in the day.

Amogus Guy

Later, I checked the door again and found the Amogus Guy there, a nod to Among Us.

He wanted to party, but I turned him away.

Gravedigger

Then came a gravedigger holding a FEMA notice.

I did not let him in either.

Shorts and Hat Guy

Finally, a man in shorts and a hat arrived. I chatted with him for a bit and decided to let him in.

That was it for the night. I checked the windows and went to bed. The news that night told me to check nails as another way to spot Visitors.

The next morning, I turned on the TV and saw a report about a pale man who was murdering people nearby.

If he came to my door, I knew I could not admit to being alone. I tuned into the radio and got a new number I could call if there were Visitors inside my house.

In the office, I found the shorts and hat man. I checked his teeth and then his hands.

I spoke to the psychic lady, who gave me another number that was supposed to clear the darkness. I called all the numbers I had so far, but none of them gave me much information.

I went to bed and ended the day.

Night 3: The Pale Stranger’s First Visit

Pale Stranger

That night, the pale stranger finally showed up. When given the choice, I told him I was not alone.

Hunter

After he left, a gruff man in a flannel shirt knocked next. He said he had been hunting Visitors. I sent him away.

Bald Fortune Teller

Finally, a bald fortune teller appeared. He did not want to come inside but told me something about a cat.

That was the last visitor for the night. I checked the windows and went to bed. When I woke up, I saw I now had three energy bars and I was given the third clue for spotting Visitors: blood red eyes.

I checked the radio first thing in the morning. Then I looked for the tall stranger in the hall and the man with sunglasses in the office. I checked both of their eyes.

After that, I checked the psychic woman’s eyes.

Finally, I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror to make sure I showed no signs of being a Visitor.

When my energy was spent, I went back to bed and let the day end.

Night 4: FEMA Intervention Begins

The first visitor for the night was a FEMA agent.

FEMA Agent

I spoke to him about his protective gear and asked him about their Plan of action. They ended up taking the Psychic woman.

Cabby

The next guest that showed up was a Cabby.

His car was taken away by FEMA agents and he needs a place to lay low. I turned him away as his story made me uncomfortable, as he had attacked FEMA agents.

Neighbor’s Daughter

The next guest was the neighbor’s daughter.

Her father was killed by Visitors and she is scared. I let her in as her father was the first person to come check in on me.

Woman with cat

The next guest was a woman with a cat. I was thinking about what the bald fortune teller had told me earlier about letting the cat in.

Her conversation skills were lacking. It could be drug use, or it could be a visitor. I asked her to prove she is human and her answer made me doubt her even more. I turned her away. She pushed back, asking me to look at the cat. She left the cat under the house and left.

That was the last guest of the night, so I checked the window to find that the entire contingent of soldiers was dead. I also saw the Pale man holding up a decapitated head and that my neighbor’s house was indeed on fire.

I went to bed as there was nothing left for me to do that night. The news gave me the fourth sign to look out for: hairless armpits.

The next morning, I checked the TV again to find out that the Visitor phenomenon was infectious, and thus Visitors need to be isolated. I then checked the radio to get the number for Phone roulette, a conversation line.

I checked the Hall to talk to the tall man. I checked the kitchen next, and the psychic woman was gone, and the neighbor’s daughter was there. Spoke to the sunglasses man in the office next. I trusted him the least, so I checked his armpits.

I checked for signs of contamination on myself and called the phone roulette line. I found out a bit about myself and how I ended up at my father’s house now. I went to bed now to wake up later.

Night 5: Advanced Detection – Aura Photography

This night started with another visit from the FEMA agent.

FEMA Agent

This was a new guy from the last and didn’t know that a Guest had been taken.

This time they took the neighbor’s daughter – and left me a FEMA notice.

Pale Stranger

The pale stranger was back again. I told him that I was doing the best I could and that I wasn’t alone.

Scantily dressed Woman

The next person was a woman who looked…off.

I turned her away, despite her promises of affection.

Mother and son

She has lost four kids and needs a place. I let them in. I checked the windows and went to bed. The news told me about the next way to tell visitors apart from humans. Aura film Photography.

TV news broadcast revealing visitor identification signs

I checked the TV and radio in the morning. I then checked the rooms and spoke to my guests. I took a photo of the mother and child. The aura photography came back clean.

I checked her hands and eyes to make sure and then left them alone. I drank a coffee to get a +1 energy boost for the next few days. I called the For Rest grocery service and ordered 2 cans of energy drink and ended the day.

Night 6: Quiet Night – Supply Management

The first guest for the night was the delivery guy. No other guests for the night. I checked the windows to find that FEMA agents are taking out runners. Went to bed and waited for morning.

I checked the TV and the radio the next morning – watching the TV added cigarettes to the food delivery menu. I spoke to the guests in the house doing final checks on each of them to make sure I only had humans in the house.

I checked myself for any signs of Visitor infection. I then ended the day.

Night 7: Professional Visitors and New Signs

Lawyer

The first guest for the night was a lawyer. I turned him away, even through he wanted to pay rent.

Researcher

The next guest is a researcher who doesn’t trust FEMA. He will tell you about head parasites in side Visitors. I turned him away.

Sick Firefighter

The next guest was a man who was visibly sick.

It looked too obvious that he might be a visitor and he didn’t look like he was long for the world so I let him in. He gave me a FEMA notice.

That was the end of the guests for the night. I checked the windows before going to bed. The news told me about the next sign to check for – bugs in the ear.

I checked the news and the radio next.  I spoke to the firefighter. I took an aura photograph of him to verify his status as a human.

Speaking to the mother (whose kid is still gone) made her give me her husband’s number. I called the deadbeat mom’s husband. He doesn’t care about the kids. Next, I checked my ears.

I wondered about how strange the report was about the ears, so I called FEMA. They told me they would get back to me. Strange. Soon, I went to bed to start the night.

Night 8: The Cult Arrives

FEMA were back, and they left with two of the guests.

Cultist

A strange cultist was the next guest. After a very strange conversation, he will ask to take in his brothers. I agreed – he was too strange to turn away.

Visitor Hunter

It’s the lone shooter who attacked the FEMA center on the news. He asks about the neighborhood eventually.

He leaves soon after.

Woman with strange eyes

I met this strange woman next. She warned me about some creature that eats burnt bodies and asked me not to get near them. I turned her away and her bribes of energy drink.

I checked the windows. More FEMA activity. Eventually, I turned in for the night. The news told me about bleeding gums as possible sign.

I checked the news for cult news from around the world. Then I checked the radio. I checked the cultists in the house next.

I ordered some energy drinks from the phone and went to bed.

Night 9: Managing Your Shelter Population

The first guest at my door is the delivery man.

Pale Stranger

Once more, I told him, I’m not alone.

Clueless man

I tried to invite him in since he had been left behind by his parents, but he wouldn’t come in because the tall stranger is in my hall. I had to chose, so I turned him away.

Guy wearing FEMA suit

He was wearing a FEMA suit off a corpse. I turned him away.

Drunk Comedian

He was not funny, but I wanted more people in the house so I let him in.

I checked the windows and went to bed. The news informed me about a new sign: Skin Irritation.

I checked the TV and the radio. I checked on the guests in the house. The standup guy was hanging with the cultists. I found out the cultists worship death. I checked the standup guy. Took a photo and checked teeth and eyes.

I gave him a FEMA notice as I did to the burn victim. I then went to bed.

Night 10: FEMA Takes Action

FEMA Agent

The night starts with a visit from FEMA. They wanted to to take two people, so I let them.

The comedian and the burn victim.

Cult Leader

The cult leader is back. I told him his flock is doing fine.

Visitor Hunter

He asked about my neighbor and wanted to see a body part. I showed him my eyes. He left soon after.

I checked the windows and went to bed. The news now spoke about Fungal growth in the underarm area as a sign.

I checked the TV and radio. I only had the cultists and the tall man in the house. I checked the armpits of the cultists.

It seemed they had fungal growth. I went to bed now and woke up at night.

Night 11: Final Visitor Encounters

Couple

There was a couple at my door tonight.

I turned them away.

Pale Stranger

He tells you with that this is the last time he is here. He will ask you if you let any of the visitors in.

I chose “I got rid of anyone who didn’t belong.” I told him I wasn’t alone.

Cult Leader

I told him to take his flock with him and he offered me salvation in death. I declined.

Evicted woman

She was evicted from her house and she warned me not to let the young guys in. I turned her away as well.

Angry Man

He is mad at the sadists and at the cowards out there in the world. He tried to bribe me with a Enerjeka but I turned him away.

I checked the windows. Everything was burning. I then went to bed. The news told me about the latest sign – Rapid pupil movement.

I checked the TV and the radio. I only had the tall man in the house. I checked his eye and went to bed. With the rest of the energy I checked myself in the bathroom.

Night 12: Late Game Decisions

Visitor Hunter

He wanted to check me again. I showed him my eyes. He was satisfied and left.

The Teacher

The next person at my door was a Teacher. I turned her away and she made me promise to take care of any lone child that shows up.

Bandana Guy

This guy wanted to kill Visitors. I turned him away as well.

I checked the windows and went to bed. The news then informed me that FEMA is now the interim government. I now noticed I had 4 energy bars now.

Night 14: Endgame and Good Ending

It’s the end game now. No one is at the door. I went to bed.

The next morning, I boarded up every window. This will trigger the good ending.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you identify Visitors in No I’m Not a Human?

Check for these visual signs: perfect white teeth or bleeding gums, blood-red eyes, dirty broken nails, hairless armpits with fungal growth, bugs in ears, or blurry aura photos. Each check costs 1 energy bar during daytime. Check teeth and eyes first for highest accuracy.

What happens if you tell the Pale Man you’re alone?

If you tell the Pale Man “Yes, I’m alone” when you actually have guests inside, he immediately breaks down your door and kills you, triggering the “Yes, I’m Alone” ending on Night 3. Always answer truthfully based on your house status.

Who are confirmed Visitors you should always reject?

Always reject: Hunched Woman (Night 1) with perfect teeth and memory gaps, Cat Lady (Night 4) with broken nails and scratched hands, and Cold Woman with perfect teeth and narrow pupils. They’re always Visitors in every playthrough.

Who are confirmed Humans you can safely let in?

Always safe to admit: Tall Stranger (Night 1), Neighbor’s Daughter (Nights 1 & 4), Firefighter (Night 7), and the three Cultists (Night 8). These characters never show visitor signs.

How do you get the good ending in No I’m Not a Human?

Keep only human guests in your house by Day 13 (identify and remove all Visitors). On Day 14, board up all windows in every room to trigger “The End?” good ending. You can also achieve this ending by being completely alone.

How does the energy system work?

You start with 2 energy bars, increasing to 4 by late game. Each guest check costs 1 energy. Energy fully resets each day. Buy Coffee or Energy Drinks from FoRest delivery to add +1 energy.

When does FEMA take guests away?

FEMA visits on Night 4 (takes 1 guest), Night 5 (takes 1), Night 8 (takes 2), and Night 10 (takes 2). Give FEMA notices to Visitors so they’re taken instead of humans.

What’s the best strategy for managing guests?

Always maintain more humans than Visitors in your house. If Visitors outnumber humans, they’ll kill your human guests. Check teeth and eyes first (highest yield signs), then use aura photography for final confirmation.
