Saros is a roguelike, adventure video game developed by Housemarque, which serves as a spiritual successor to their previous award-winning game in the same genre, Returnal. While it’s a bit more linear compared to its predecessor, Saros offers a stronger challenge and a better progression system overall.

1: Shattered Arise

Arjun finds himself alone during an eclipse in Carcosa. Nevertheless, he gathers himself and restarts his journey to find his wife on this planet where numerous groups, Echelons, are already missing.

After crossing through Shattered Arise, we enter the Ancient Ruins, which comprise multiple industrial complexes on Carcosa.

Arjun defeats Bastion and returns to the Surface, only to enter Shattered Descent. It’s a broad path that leads to the main Carcosan City.

The journey to the Carcosan city continues through the Blighted Marsh, but the stakes are unusually high.

The answers to Nitya’s disappearance are closer than ever. But is she willing to accept Arjun again? Find out in this walkthrough of Desecrated Fortress, including the fight with the notorious Architect.

With more questions than answers, Arjun continues his search for Nitya in Acolyte’s Haven, an area near the ocean. This is a complete walkthrough of this area, including the Shephard boss fight.

Arjun falls into the ocean after fighting against Shephard, and the waves wash him up at the Carcosa Cathedral. It is a massive fortress where you will fight the Priestess.
