Stonemachia Walkthrough Hub

Stonemachia Bishop

Welcome to the walkthrough hub of Stonemachia, featuring a complete walkthrough of the game.

Stonemachia is a soulslike title with a very unique concept where you play as a chess piece. You take on the role of the Pawn, who can transform into different chess pieces such as the Rook, Knight, Bishop, and Queen. For more information about the game, head over to its Steam page.

As this is a soulslike game, there are plenty of challenging boss fights, and finding the correct path forward can sometimes be tricky. To help players along the way, we at Into Indie Games have put together a complete and thorough walkthrough of Stonemachia.

Sacrigera Fortress

This is going to be the first area in the game, and you will not find many challenging bosses here. However, this is where you need to understand the core fundamentals of the game, so check out our guide to learn how to complete this area with ease.

This is the area where things start to become a little more challenging. From this point onward, you will begin to see just how well the developers have crafted the level design. There are also some difficult encounters in this area, so check out our walkthrough to make your journey much easier.

Village of Stone

This may be the first area where you find yourself getting lost, as the exploration can be quite challenging and complex. Valley of the Mills

valley of the mills featured Stonemachia

Valley of the Mills can be one of the shortest areas in the game because the main boss is located directly north of where you first arrive. After defeating the main boss, you simply need to follow the path and defeat the Rook to reach the next area. However, doing so will cause you to miss several optional bosses. Check out our guide for a complete walkthrough of the area.

Scarlet Stronghold

This area features a boss that many players may completely miss. The path leading to this encounter is very well hidden, so read our walkthrough to locate it with ease. In addition, this area contains one of the hardest bosses in the game, and quite possibly the toughest enemy you have faced so far. We have done our best to simplify the boss’s moveset, so be sure to give the walkthrough a read.

Navilia

Navilia is going to be the area where many players struggle to find the route to the next destination. You will need to defeat certain bosses and then speak to a specific NPC before you can continue your journey. Read our walkthrough to learn exactly what you need to do.

Submerged Alleys

This is another area that features some of the hardest bosses in the game. Remember Zerafim, the first boss you fought at the beginning of the game? That boss makes a return in this area. However, it is very easy to miss Zerafim, so use our walkthrough to find the encounter without any trouble.

Quiet Sky and Empyrean Abbey

Both of these areas are quite challenging and feature several difficult boss fights. Bosses such as Mammalian King, Stone Cockatrice, Samael, Ophanim, and Behemoth are not easy opponents to overcome. Learn how to defeat them by following our detailed walkthrough.

Spire of the Skies

This is going to be the final area of the game, and you will need to defeat five bosses in total. There is not going to be much exploration here, as the focus is primarily on defeating the bosses one after another. Check out our guide to learn how to overcome each of them and bring your journey to a successful conclusion.
