Traces 2020 Walkthrough

You explore the apartment and remove the wallpaper from a particular section of the specific room. Removing the wallpaper sheet from the wall allows you to acquire the first letter.  

Acquire the Secret Letter

Your journey begins in a whole new apartment. The room on the left is under construction. Get inside and approach the other door in this room to go to the balcony.

The balcony is filled with different items like Jakob’s blue backpack, rocks, and other construction items, like paint.

Reach the end of the balcony and get inside the room on the right. The whole apartment is being renovated.

There’s a door on the left, but you can’t go through because it’s blocked from the other room. Move to the right of the door on the wall and rip off the wall sheet.

The secret letter is pinned to the wall. Pick it up to investigate it.

Growing Wings 1989 Walkthrough

A cutscene will commence, and you will play as Kolja. The building is damaged in the Wartburgkreis district due to the earthquake.

Press the LMB to get up from the floor and get inside the room in front of you. Approach the window to pick up the paper airplane. Read this paper, as it’s the same letter in the previous apartment.

Open the door that is on the opposite side of the window.

You will find yourself on a balcony. There’s a telephone on the right of the table. Approach it and pick it up to dial the number.

How To Make a Paper Plane

Move inside the same room where you find the paper airplane. There’s an activity book on the right of the window, next to the study lamp.

Pick it up and press the RMB to file the paper place. You need to make a paper place by taking the hints from the activity book.

First, fold the quarter half side of the map and then the other quarter. After that, turn it into half and then flip it into half.

Once you make the paper place, approach the open window and throw it to the designated area on the building in front of you.

After throwing the plane, it will be you who will control its movement to make it reach the balcony of that building. Use WASD keys to control the plane’s movement.

How To Water the Plants

Go back to the same room where you woke up after the earthquake. Pick the watering can.

Use this Watering can to give water to the plants in your apartment. Approach the plants and press the LMB to water the plants. The plants will grow rapidly if you give them too much water.

Make sure to water every plant in this room to make them grow again. Once you pick up the Watering Can, go near the door and water the plants on the left.

After that, go to the right corner of the room near a single sitter sofa to water the plants over there.

Move to the opposite corner of the room and water the single plant near the pink curtain.

Go near the cupboard at the backside of this room and water the dying plant over there.

Move to the right side of the cupboard and water the yellow leaf plant.

Turn around and go near the TV to water the single plant over there.

There’s a small plant on the table near that sofa. Use the watering can to give water to it.

Go near the stairs in this room and water the plant of the first step and the other plant on the third step.

Water the small plants on the table near the pink curtain.

Once you’re done watering every plant in the apartment, you will see a flying paper plane just come into the room.

Pick up the plane and investigate it.

Once you’re done reading it, you need to make another paper plane to throw it on the same balcony of that building.

Follow the activity book to make the paper place, but this time it should be different.

Fold the paper using the mouse and make a unique design this time. Once you make the plane, approach the window, and throw it.

Make sure to aim well this time and control the movement to make it reach the balcony of the room in that building.

How to Cook

Once you’re done throwing the paper plane, you need to cook. Move straight out of this room to get inside the kitchen.

Approach the fridge and open it to pick up the Vanilla Pudding.

Move to the right side of the kitchen near the window and get inside the small storage room.

Get inside and pick up the Solyanka Soup.

You’ll get a paper plane in the kitchen once you get out of the storage area in the kitchen. Pick it up and read it.

You need to make another paper plane to give Lu’s lasagna the finishing touch.

Fold the paper using the mouse and follow the pattern from the activity book. Once you make it, move to the main room and approach the window.

Use the mouse movement to aim and press the LMB to throw the paper place towards the balcony of that building. Control the movement and let it reach the designated area.

Return to the kitchen and approach the cooking table. Pick up the opener and use it to open the Solyanka soup tin. Use the LMB to open the tin.

After that, press the LMB to pour it into the cooking bowl on the cooking stove.

Pick up the salt and add it to the cooking pot. There’s a spoon next to you, so pick it up and stir the pot by pressing LMB.

Turn on the cooking stove to let the cooking process begin.

Approach the Heat Up Casserole and spread the green veggie all over it.

Pick up the Casserole and place it in the oven to heat it up. Turn on the switch from the left to heat the Casserole.

Pick up the beer from the table next to the cooking stove and put it in the fridge.

Another paper plane will arrive in the main living room. Pick it up and read it.

You need to make a unique paper place this time, using the activity book. Fold the paper a little from the top and then continue folding it till the end.

Flip it over and fold it in half. Then, turn it and follow the instructions from the book.

Approach the window and aim it towards the tower in front of you.

Now, you need to change your clothes. Approach the cupboard in your room and select the outfit you want to wear.

Once you wear the new outfit, a flying paper plane will arrive in the room.

Make sure to follow it and pick it up to read it. Once you’re done reading the letter, pick up the jazz improvisations. Press the LMB to select it and change the music.

You will find yourself sitting on a chair in front of the dining table.

Pick up the jar from the table and feed Erich. Then, adjust the fork, knife, and plate in front of you.

Light up the candle using the matchstick.

Make a paper here and throw it towards the balcony of that building.

There will be cold wind, so approaching the balcony of that building can be challenging for you. A telephone will start ringing now. Approach it and pick it up.

Traces 2020 Walkthrough – 2nd Time

A small cutscene will commence, and you’re now playing as Dilara. Go to the room where Malik is working.

There’s a star made of straw on the right side of the room in the stove.

Pick up the tongs and use the mouse to take it out to examine it. Press the RMB to head to another story.

Silent Night 1945 Walkthrough

A small cutscene will commence, and you will see wooden planks all over the window. Make sure to press Ctrl to use the basket.

Decorate the Room

Pick up the star made of straw from the basket and place it on the wooden plank to decorate it. Use the nail to hang this decoration piece.

There’s a cooking stove next to you. Turn it on to heat up the tea again, as it was given to the neighbors.

Turn around and go to the back of the room. Approach the door and use the basket to pick up the wooden decoration piece. Press the LMB to add it and hand it on the door in the center of the Christmas decoration.

Doing so will automatically give a shiny golden color to the room.

There are two big bags on the left of this door. Approach them and pick up another decoration piece to place on them. Doing so will further decorate the room with the golden color.

Turn around from here and approach the cooking stove again. You can see the hanging frame on the left.

All you need to do is interact with the frame and straighten it. Doing so allows you to give color to this section of the room.

Go to the other side of the room and interact with the heater on the right of the bed to turn it on while decorating the room

.

Your objective here is to completely decorate the room with these decorative pieces. Find a suitable place to put them and make the room beautiful.

Move to the backside of the room and open the door to get inside the next room.

Go to the center of this room and approach the abandoned candle and light it up.

There’s a rifle in front of you and a cable near it. Interact with the candle to light it up.

Turn to the left and approach the broken table, and light up the candle to decorate this section of the abandoned room.

Open the dad’s medal box from the table and pick up one medal.

Go to the right side of the room towards the piano. Interact with the candle on the left to light it up. The more you lighten the candles in this room, the more quickly you can progress.

Pick up the picture from the center of the piano and examine it. Also, make sure to pick up the dad’s toys from this room.

There’s a room on the right, but its door is partially broken. Approach the door and examine the machine. The nest has been empty for a month.

Get out of the room and approach the table on the left of the gallery.

Light up the candle and open the drawer to pick up the book. Now, return to the Christmas room.

Approach the small Christmas tree at the center of the room and add the dad’s medal to decorate it. Use all the remaining decorative items on the Christmas tree.

Once you’re done decorating the room, approach the table and sit in the chair.

Magda will tell you to eat your soup and keep your mouth shut. Choose the ‘Dad, wasn’t a hero?’ dialogue option. This is where the Silent Night 1945 walkthrough ends.

Traces 2020 Walkthrough – 3rd Time

Open the box in front of you to place the decorative star inside it. There’s a paper plane, a key, and a stitch button in this old box. Once you put the star, you need to close this box.

You will now find yourself in front of the same wall from where you acquired the first letter. There’s a doll and a swordman toy on the backpack. Pick up the swordsman toy and place it on the structure on the right.

Pick up the one-eyed alien and place it on the left pillar, and an elegator on the right pillar.

Turn around and turn on the light to see the wallpaper on the wall.

You have to play the mini-game here. Pick up the football by pressing the LMB and throw it towards the spray paint bottles. Make sure to drop all of them

Break the Tiles

Go to the kitchen and approach the ruined refrigerator, and pick up the hammer from the toolbox.

Go to the washroom and use the hammer to break all the tiles on the wall. Keep pressing the LMB to break all the tiles and unveil a new secret.

While breaking the wall on the left side of the washroom, you will see the numbers written on the wall. This is some sort of mini-game that the people from the past used to play.

Once you’re done breaking the tiles in the washroom, move to the kitchen and use the hammer to break the tiles over there too.

Start by breaking the tiles on the right side of the kitchen. You can find the piece of paper over there. That’s where the Traces 2020 Walkthrough ends in the Berlin Apartment.

The Suitcase 1933 Walkthrough

There’s a cage in front of you with the parrot inside. Interact with the cage to open the gate and let the yellow parrot escape.

Pack The Suitcase

A telephone will start ringing, so move towards it to speak with Esther. You need to do the packing according to the list you made with Esther on the telephone.

Pick the list and see what you need to locate. The items you need for packing are a warm jacket, a passport, lucky shoes, a grandfather’s pocket watch, a razor, a journal, and a camera.

Press Ctrl to toggle the packing list. From the telephone on the table, move to the right and enter the room on the left.

Investigate the room thoroughly to unveil the secrets. Approach the table and open the middle drawer, and remove the books from it. Then, take out the wooden plank to locate the passport.

Check the contract and press RMB to go into the flashback.

Press the LMB on the Revuetheater Krone and then on the wooden planks on the right of the Minerva Cinema from a distance.

Aim at the main entrance of the cinema to renovate it, and then the wooden planks on the left.

Put the passport in the suitcase in front of you and see how you get your passport.

The key to the cinema is inside, but you need to find other items from the packing list.

Turn around and get out of the room, and move inside the workshop in front of you.

Search the workshop completely and pick up the camera from one of the shelves on the left.

Press the LMB while holding the camera to take the last photo.

Find the badge from your old employer in your closet in the room.

A cutscene will commence, showcasing the applications being stamped.

Once the flashback ends, you need to find other items from the list. Get out of the room through the door on the right and examine the restroom thoroughly.

Pick up the razor from the shelf in the washroom and an old photo. A cutscene will commence, showcasing the theater room.

Place the razor and the photo in the bag. Continue finding the remaining items like lucky shoes, a pocket watch, and a journal.

Go to the left of the room and move inside the gallery, and go back to your office again. Examine the book from the shelf on the right.

The telephone will start ringing, so get out of the room and approach the table in the gallery. Pick up the call, but no one responds from the other side.

Move inside your bedroom and open the right drawer in the closet to see the shoes. But you don’t have to pick them up, as these are not the required ones.

Go to the kitchen on the left of this room and go near the basin. Approach the wooden table on the left and open the drawer.

There’s a locked diary that needs to be unlocked using the right key. Use every key from this drawer to open it till you find the correct one.

Once you open the diary, press the RMB to go into the flashbacks.

You’ll find yourself in the cinema and a bucket in front of you. You will try to end the fire in the cinema, but that’s not enough.

Once the cutscene ends, place the diary in the suitcase. Press the ‘R’ key to rotate the book to adjust it in the bag.

Now, you need to find the lucky shoes and pocket watch. Make your way back to the workshop and go to the left side at the end to find the locker.

Approach the locker and pull the cloth away. Interact with the drawer and use the combination “01/12/1895” to unlock it. Use the mouse to rotate the dial of the locker.

 Using this combination allows you to unlock the locker. You can pick up the Grandfather’s Pocket watch from here.

A flashback will start, showcasing the newspaper, the pocket watch, and the theater.

Now, put the pocket watch in the suitcase after the cutscene ends.

Make your way to the gallery and reach the far end near the old wooden cupboard.

Use the small ladder to open the shelf door from above. You need to press the LMB to climb the ladder first. Pick up the lucky shoes from there in front of you.

A flashback will start, and you will find yourself in front of the cinema. Use the scissors to cut the ribbon.

Interact with the projector to turn it on.

Once the flashback ends, put the lucky shows in your suitcase. Press the ‘R’ to adjust the shoes.

A small cutscene will start, and someone throws a concrete stone at your window.

Once your packing is done, pick the suitcase and go to the gallery. Approach the door on the far end on the right and open the door.

Get out of the Apartment

Just before you open the door, someone will knock on the door from the outside.

You need to go through the back door. Move inside the kitchen to approach the safe door from there.

Interact with every lock one by one and unlock them. For the first lock from the top, you just need to drag it knob to the right.

For the second door, just use the key to unlock key. The third door can be unlocked by moving the knob to the left while holding the LMB.

The last lock can be easily unlocked by pressing the LMB and dragging the mouse to the right.

A cutscene will commence, and that’s where The Suitcase 1933 Walkthrough ends. However, Joseph later migrated to the United States in the trail of Hollywood movie stars.

Traces 2020 Walkthrough – 4th Time

Flip the map using the mouse to see the photo of the workshop. Press the LMB to place the photograph in the box. Press the RMB to close this box.

You will find yourself in the kitchen, making a meal. Hold the pointer on the bread and press the LMB to grab it. You need to now place the bread on the plate.

Pick up the other bread and place it on your plate. Use the ‘R’ key to rotate the food item to adjust it on the plate.

Continue placing each item on both plates till the plate is ready to serve.

Once done, pick up Malik’s plate and go to the room where he’s painting the door. Give the meal plate to the dad.

You need to take care of the food now.

Throw Extra Stuff

Get out of this room and move to the right to get inside the other room. Find Malik in the other room and speak with him.

You need to throw all the extra stuff from this room into the chute. Approach the table on the left of the Malik and pick up the box filled with empty tins.

There’s a green dustbin on the back side of the table in the window. Approach it and press the LMB to throw the box into it.

Now, pick up the telephone from the same table and throw it in the chute. Make sure you’re aiming right, or else the item will fall on the ground.

Pick up the box and throw it in the chute. Make sure to throw away all the stuff like boxes, globe, study, and lamp. You can keep the books and a typewriter.

Interact with the typewriter and press any key to type.

That’s where this walkthrough ends in The Berlin Apartment.

Interferences From Orbit 1967 Walkthrough

You’re a writer and you need to write something unique on the typewriter. You need to decide on a name for the spaceship.

You can either choose ‘The Space Cruiser Meteor’ or ‘The GDRS Friendship’. Select any of the options to give a name to the spaceship.

A small cutscene will commence, and the items in this room will start floating in the air.

Turn around and go through the door at the back to get into the gallery of the apartment.

Go to the right side of the gallery and go inside the room on the right. This is basically the control room of the spaceship.

Go to the driver’s seat and interact with the chair.

A cutscene will appear, showcasing your ship firing at the giant rocks in front of it. Select “The Cosmonaut generated an impulsive wave!” from the options.

Use the WASD keys to control the ship. After that, select “The Surface of the Planet seemed tumultuous” from the options.

Bulow tries to make contact with your spaceship. Move to the right side of the room and pick up the telephone to speak with him.

Move to your living room and pick up the telephone over there to speak with him.

After speaking with him, move back to the control room of the spaceship. Everything is falling apart on the ship, and even the alarms are ringing.

There’s a maintenance hatch on the right side of the control room. Interact with it, open it by pressing the LMB on the left side of the lever, and drag it to the left. 

You will now find yourself in the living room facing the board.

Select “The Biography of the cosmonaut” from the options. Get out of the living room and continue moving to the new path.

This time you will find yourself in a whole new place. Once you reach the end, continue moving to the left and interact with the last door, but it doesn’t open.

Now go to the right side and then turn left. Take another left and then go to the path on the right. A blackhole will appear in front of you.

Return all the way from where you came in and follow the opposite path. Continue moving till you find a giant typewriter.

Keep moving to the other side till you find the spaceship suits.

Eventually, you will find yourself in front of the rockets. You will be speaking with the Bulow here.

You need to select “Unending Love!” from the options to destroy the rockets.

Now, continue moving straight and interact with the door to unlock it. You will get into the coffee room. You can make the coffee here and drink it.

Move out of the room and you will find a big working machine.

Interact with the photo on the table in the living room.

Press the LMB to look closer at this photo frame. You will now find yourself in front of the maintenance robot.

You need to find the maintenance hatch from this room. This is available on the right side of the machine. Interact with it and select “A Simple Farmer” from the options.

You will find yourself in the living room. Pick up the telephone and speak with the dad.

You will now get to the upper platform of the failed giant machine. Interact with the controls on the right. Then, go to the opposite side of this platform to approach the other controls.

Interact with the core to release it. Press the LMB after interacting with the core to drag it downward.

The gate of the spaceship will be unlocked, and the core will be moved out.

Traces 2020 Walkthrough – 5th Time

You will find yourself looking towards the astronaut drawing from the window.

Select “Her message was that you should never give up” from the options.

Place the box in which you saved all the letters and clues to the history under the tile near the entrance of the door. Take the blue marker from Malik and put it in that box.

Then a cutscene will commence, showcasing the end of the game.
