Woodo: Guides, Tips, And Walkthrough

Woodo

Woodo is a diorama-building game where you place relevant blocks across several scenes in the past. The memory of the protagonist is revealed gradually as you visit more places. You will see these moments through her imagination. To solve each puzzle, you will need to pay attention to the details in each block.

To learn more about the game, check out the Steam page.

Starting Out

Woodo

You start out the game by spelling out Woodo. Place the blocks matching the lines between the O blocks. Place the rest of the blocks.

Next, you need to fill in the wooden chest. Focus on the detailing on each block and then place them in their matching empty places. You can’t rotate the pieces on the toolbar, but you can rotate the chest. Rotate till the empty spaces and the blocks match, and place them.

Some shapes are completed using multiple blocks. For example, to complete the flower, you need to place the petal piece and the stem piece separately.

Tip

Hold a piece in your hand and hover it over the object while you are zoomed in. You will eventually find the correct place it fits. Rotating can also help, as some objects get easier to view at a different angle.

A Memory

Woodo

You have to place blocks into what seems like a room from the past. Most of these are straightforward. You just need to watch the floor pieces and the design on them carefully. Then place them each on the floor, as if you were solving a Jigsaw puzzle.

Some empty spaces on the floor are covered by objects on top. You can guess which piece goes here by matching the remaining shape and the design.

Once you are done with the room, zoom in on the table and place all objects there. To make the table, place the larger pieces in the middle and the semicircle pieces on the edges.

You only need to place one small plate on the stack, and the rest will fill in by themselves. Most objects, especially plates, the sandwich holder, and a slice of bread, are covered, so just place the matching plate blocks based on size. Zoom in on the cupcake to complete it.

Woodo

Zoom out, and you will have more pieces to complete the room. There are now four places you need to focus more. The cabinet behind, the kitchen shelf, the clutter on the bottom right, and the plants on the left.

Also notice a small shelf over the cabinet, as some smaller pieces, like the jar, will go up there. The round design plate will go in the middle of the shelf. There is no design on the space, but you can match the size.

Click on the cat and the vegetable basket to finish the wooden structure. Interact with the two plant pots and place the adjacent leaves inside. Place the small triangle pieces on the wall.

Complete the cabinet so you can open the shelves and drawers. Interact with them to place the remaining objects inside. Finally, complete the box in the cabinet to finish the level.

Tip

Place all the larger objects first in Woodo to reduce the clutter of pieces in your toolbar. You can place smaller, precise pieces later. Do not overlook the details, especially the ones on the walls and floors.

Foxy

Woodo

Start by placing the fox block, and then place all the objects around it. You will need to rotate to find some hidden spaces behind. Do not overlook the small parts that are components of others, such as the loading screen symbol and the backpack parts, which are easy to miss. This fox is the main character in Woodo.

The Village

Place the fox statue. Then place the lily pads, crab, fish, and other water plants in the water. There are smaller critters like flies and small ducks, which you can easily spot after zooming.

The geese are composed of different components. Place the face blocks first, and you can then assemble the rest of the body, legs, shoes, and the clothes. Place the slippers below the feet on the second goose from the right.

Turn around near the goose with the hat, and place the small bag on the strap of the goose next to it. The small purple feather goes on top of the hat.

Woodo

Start building the next scene with the fox block once again. After placing some straightforward objects. The bull will change the object in his hand; place them accordingly. Take the key and move to the next scene.

There is a scuffle here; place the larger pieces first. Place the spectator ducklings. One of them is hiding behind a rock fence in the middle. The plant pot will go in the window.

There is a giant duck on top of the bull consisting of several components. The exclamation mark goes on top of it. Place the head and its legs too. Zoom to build the backpack.

In the next scene, rotate the angle to place the leg of the running duck. Then place the rest of the components. Place the Z letters on top of the house; one small one is hidden behind.

Place the flower with stems in the correct empty space in the garden by matching the shape. Place a bush in a nearby empty space. Place the two tears on the fox’s face.

The last scene has mostly larger objects which you can place directly without too much trouble. The small fly will go on top of the D-shaped window components. The smaller square stone will go behind the large one.

Woodo

You will now zoom out to complete the rest of the scene. Almost all of the pieces here are quite easy to place. Match the flower pieces, stone structures, plants, and roof pieces to the blocks of the right shapes and sizes.

Then work on the smaller pieces that will go in the detailing of the house. Place the plank between potted plants and then place two semi-circle pieces above them. The circular window has two components divided in half. Place the large fish on one edge of the water.

Tip

If you can’t find a place to fit any particular piece, move on to the next one. In Woodo, you may find it easier to place once the places are narrowed down and the scenery becomes clearer.

The Dusty Den

Place the fox statue on the bed. There are many small pieces in this level, so you would require zooming in a lot. Place the floor pieces by matching shape and design. Some of them are covered by furniture above. Place the round wood block on the pattern on the floor, and then complete the remaining pattern.

Place the mouse on the spider on the top left area. Rotate to find a chicken outside and place the blocks in its empty space. You will also find a space to place the crescent shape pillow in the window. Rotate to the roof and place the peeking crow on one edge. Place one bulb in the lamp.

The small sweet will go inside the pink boot. Place some utensils and books in the shelf behind. Build the bottom drawer and place the compass. To get the piece for the upper drawer, build the treasure chest and rotate to find it. Place the items inside and grab the key.

Use the key on the chest and place items inside. Get the final piece and place it in the room to finish this level in Woodo.

Ben

Place the frog and then the fly on the cabinet. In this level, you will unlock panning to move to a different area within the same scene. You will be using this along with zooming to solve this level in Woodo.

Rotate and place the wooden log on the roof. Rotate back to place the bins and the little worm on the top. Place the other worm on top of the tree. Its head would be visible.

The little mouse is somewhere between the flower fields. You will also place a small end of the blue hose here. Place the leaves of the pumpkin seperately.

Place the little garden tools in the bucket. Match the size and shapes of crops in the field. Place the multiple frogs and fox blocks depending on their posture and size. Place the saw and a plank in the hands of the frog on the south. Place small wooden flakes around him.

Place the little chicken on a nearby drawer. After you place the chicken, you can interact with it to place a chicken underneath. Place the hammer on the frog block on the rooftop.

Woodo

Place the two small pots on the window. Notice a gap behind a step-ladder, place small boots there. Then place the large apple inside a nearby bucket. The blue hose is hidden behind the tree. Place the little mouse door around here too. Place the small cup on the hand of the frog on the roof.

Click on the logs on the frog’s hand to complete another scene. Place the speech bubble near the chicken. The rest of the blocks are straightforward, but two of them are locked for the time-being. Interact with the flowerbed and solve the puzzle to get the locked chicken.

Woodo

Some objects are moving in the water. Place one frog, water inflatable, and a lilypad. You will find a locked object over the lilypad. Place the snail over the turbine. Wait for the empty space to show up.

Grab the missing showel behind the fence. Place it in the hands of the frog in front of the house. Interact with the cabinet to build another scene here. You will find the locked missing log here. Go back and place it on the log scene. You will get the missing farming rake from here.

Grab the missing cabinet door from behind the rake. Complete the cabinet and pick up the box. Then place it on the opening in the roof. Grab the key. Use it on the house door to get the oven piece. Get the tap for the hose inside and place it in the middle of the garden to complete this level in Woodo.

Conflict

Place the simple blocks around Foxy. Then place the carrots according to their shape in the empty spaces. Build the cabinet. Open one of the drawer and place a sleepy chick inside. In the second drawer, place the wood flakes.

The pieces are upside down in the water. You need to place the blocks above them by matching the reflection. Place the boots over the legs of the duck that is lying with its feet up. Then place the rest of the body over it. Make it wear the yellow bandana. Build the duck on the other side the same way.

Place the three chicks close to one another. Place the carrot over the reflection. Place Ben over the frog reflection. Place the fly over the cupboard. Open the cupboard drawer and place the sitting chick inside.

Click on the exclamation mark over Ben to complete a scene. Pieces will keep falling, and you need to place them like a jigsaw puzzle onto the two characters to complete this level in Woodo.

The Change

Place the objects in the few empty spaces you see in the room. Click on the bag and place the pieces in the scene. Some pieces are locked here, so lets find them in the room. Grab one beside the books on the shelf behind bed.

Open the bottom drawer to get the compass. The top drawer has a key. Complete the puzzle in the shoe, and grab the book behind the spider. Build the chest to obtain some items from it. Click on the doll several times to reveal a pen.

Click on the mouse door and build the room inside. Open the drawer to obtain cheese slices. Grab another one from inside the oven. There is another inside a pot. Open the fridge and place the food items you have inside. Open the door and get the sweet block.

You now have almost everything. Grab the binoculars from behind the bag inside the scene. Place all gathered blocks and complete this level in Woodo.

Adventure

Unpack the box and place the relevant blocks at their places. Click on Ben to solve his backpack puzzle. Grab the cup from behind and hang it on the side of the bag. Then build the next scene. Lot of birds in this level, so notice their face, body, and leg shapes and also check out what they are wearing.

In the next scene, place flowers in the garden behind and place the rest of the blocks. Click on the flower to enter another scene. Place the small chimney in the cup. Place the large circle on the ladybug. Place the little bird on top of the chimney.

Place the remaining pieces. You will notice tiny house figures below the flower, pick them up and finish the house.

In the next scene, pick up barrels of hay and place them on the background. Place the little mouse besides one of them. Finish the rest of the scene. You will just place animals on a straightforward path to complete this level in Woodo.

Pirates

Woodo

You find yourself on a small boat in this level in Woodo. Place the birds at their correct places, pick them as they are scattered in the scene. Pick up the inflatable and place on one side of the boat. Next place the anchor and steering wheel.

Place the small plant on the window and the sack on one edge of the boat. As you keep placing pieces, you will see more appearing scattered around. Place the cannon on the sides of the boat.

Complete the rest of the boat and then click on the fish to build a small scene. Click on the small fish above the bigger fish and place it on the other side.

Hidden Island

This level has blocks scattered around as well. Place the frog under the hat, swimming in water. The fish go underwater. Place the straps on the bag. There are plants both above and under the water.

The small fish will go near the pink fish near the opening in the water. It’s hidden in some plants. The crab is under the water. One of the ducks is wearing a bag, so build that too. One of the ducks’ faces is hidden behind the tent.

The small yellow flower goes below one of the flies. Click on the small house to complete a scene. Zoom inside to place the pillows, and place the planks matching their shape and size around. Open the small cupboard to place the phone, flashlight, and bag inside. The small candles will go inside the jar.

Complete the scene on the boat. Focus on the things you need first; then, one by one, more empty spaces will appear where you will place scattered fish and plants. Complete the camera scene to finish the day part.

This level in Woodo has a night part as well. In the evening, zoom in on the campfire and place the pieces around it. Place the striped fish floating over the water inside. Find the hidden stars and place them in the sea. One of them is in the jar, and another is below a stone opening. The next one is in the small cupboard.

Another is behind a giant rock a bit far from the scene. Next is below an inflatable. The last one is on a boat. Pick up the crab from inside the tent and place it in the water.

Tip

Look at the scene from above; it will give you an overall view of the scene and help place larger items.

The Best Summer

This Woodo level is very straightforward, as all you need to do is zoom and rotate at several places to put the correct blocks for the most part. Build the small door opening in the windmill, and you will find more empty spaces to fill inside.

The broom space is hidden behind the birds here. There is also a cat sleeping here. There are some sacks to place on the left side as well.

Once you are done placing what you can. Click on some bottles near the bushes and complete the scene inside. After placing Foxy and Ben, grab the two bottles and place them in their hands.

Click on the wood planks between trees and build the scene inside. You will obtain the key to the locked house on top of the windmill. Place the blocks inside, and you will obtain the door to the blue birdhouse. Place blocks inside here as well. Click on the fish bucket and build the scene to complete the level.

Goodbye

This is the final level of Woodo. It’s a melancholic level, and since it’s night, all items on your tray are dark. You need to guess their correct places from their shape and place them all around the house.

Open the drawers and place the napkins and forks inside. Place the eggplant in the vegetable basket on the cabinet. The rest of the blocks are straightforward. Finish the bag last, and you will complete this stage.
