007 First Light – All The Time In The World Walkthrough

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering the All the Time in the World mission of 007 First Light.

After the MI6 field test, the team is summoned to M’s office to discuss an important matter. It appears the former 009 claims to have crucial evidence, but he will only speak to Greenway.

Something about this feels off, especially given that he has been missing in action for over a decade. M assigns the new team to keep eyes everywhere, track him down, and uncover what is really going on.

Report To Q

Head to the lift and go down to Q Lab. Head toward Wearables and you will find Q there waiting for you. He will inform you about your cover story.

It seems Greenway was not happy about your performance last night, and all Bond gets is the role of chauffeur.

You can also speak to Monroe and Cressida at the other side of the room if you want. When you are ready, head to Gadget Testing and meet Q there.

Test New Gadgets

Head to the Gadget Testing area. Q has a couple of new gadgets for you to try that will be useful during your missions.

The first gadget is the Shockwave Camera. It uses battery and allows you to stun the enemy for a short while and damage any body armor they have.

The second gadget is the Smoke Device. It uses chemicals and allows you to release smoke that obscures enemy vision, giving you an advantage either to perform takedowns or escape.

Before you leave, you need to fix your loadout. Head to the Gadget Cart in the corner. You can only have two gadgets equipped, in addition to your Q-Watch.

For this mission we picked the Dart Phone and the Smoke Pod. It is always good to have at least one chemical-based gadget option since you can run out of battery quite easily.

Go To Moneypenny’s Pod

With your loadout sorted, head to the lift and take it to reach Moneypenny’s Pod, where you will receive your briefing.

You will find Greenway speaking to her. It seems Greenway knows 009 very well and he is worried that this is all just a trap.

After he leaves, go inside and speak to Moneypenny, where you will receive your mission details. Your destination is the Grand Carpathian Hotel, host to the World Chess Championship.

Drive To The Hotel

As the chauffeur, Bond needs to drive Cressida and Monroe to the hotel. When you reach the gate, you will be stopped by security for a vehicle inspection.

Shortly after, you will be inside where you can drop the couple at the hotel while you make your way to the parking area where you are supposed to wait.

Bond parks the car and quickly becomes extremely bored while waiting. He steps out for some fresh air and notices something suspicious. He sees one of the bellhops throwing away luggage.

Bond decides to inform the team, but they are not convinced as it is not related to 009. He decides to take matters into his own hands.

Investigate The Blond Man

Take the stairs up and follow the blond man as he enters the hotel. Now you need to find a way inside. By now you know the drill, there are several ways to get in.

We used the simple route, climbing. Just to the left of the door you will see a ledge with a blue tarp, but there is a security guard standing there. Use the Dart Phone on him, then climb up.

Make your way to the upper floor above the entrance and you should find a window that gives you access to the hotel.

Progress forward to reach the balcony overlooking the chess championship, where you get a better view of your surroundings. You will see the blond man heading downstairs.

Search The Hotel

There are many opportunities to gather clues or decide your next move, and we cannot walk you through every single one since even we did not complete all of them.

We will focus on how we completed the mission in our first playthrough.

Get The Staff Key

To your left you should see a Staff Only door. If you wait a moment, a server will pass by. Use your Q-Lens to spot him, he has the Staff Key.

You need to distract him in order to steal it. You can do this using the Dart Phone. This key is useful regardless of your chosen route.

In the same area, you should see a guard blocking access to the rooms on the left. On the opposite side, there is a vacuum machine you can activate to distract him.

Head to the end of the hallway and on the last balcony you can eavesdrop on a conversation related to the bellhop.

Speak To The Barman

Head downstairs and speak to the barman. Ask about the bellhop and he will tell you that the bellhop asked for directions to the backstage area. This is your next destination.

Go to the main room and head left. You will find the man you overheard earlier. Ask him about the bellhop and he will say he saw him heading toward Reception.

Head To Reception

Your next stop is Reception, which will be marked by an objective. Go there.

At Reception you will find a guest filing a complaint about missing luggage, involving the same bellhop you are tracking. Eavesdrop on the conversation, then speak to him.

During the conversation, he will inform you that the bellhop went to Laundry, which is your next destination. However, the Laundry door requires a code. The code is 1805, but here is how to find it.

How To Get The Laundry Door Code

Go behind the reception desk on the right side and you should see a Staff Only door. Unlock it using the key you acquired earlier.

Inside, you will find hotel staff. Crouch and move around them without being spotted and reach the next door. This leads to the manager’s office.

On the desk, interact with the file to find the Laundry code. Before you leave, there is a safe under the desk that can also be unlocked, but it requires another code.

  • The code is 1952, based on one of the finest wines displayed in the room.

Go To The Laundry

With the code in hand, head to the Laundry door and enter it. Go downstairs and you will see the blond man tipping off guards so no one can follow him.

Bond must follow him, so you need to find a way through. You can sneak past or fight your way through the room, depending on your approach.

There is also a third option involving a disguise, which requires finding a hat. This allows you to pass more easily without raising suspicion.

Go through the door and you will find the bellhop outfit dropped nearby with a note showing 206. This is a room number we will need later, but the blond man has already changed disguises again.

Return To The Chess Tournament

Exit the Laundry through the side window and use the pipe to climb back into the hotel. You will enter the library with several guards nearby.

You can sneak past them, fight them, or bluff your way through. Continue to the next room, where two more guards are waiting. This time you cannot bluff, so you must take them down.

Back in the main area, you will meet Monroe. Bond tells him about the blond man. Monroe has spotted him too, but he was wearing a suit and was last seen heading upstairs.

Head to Reception again and speak to the receptionist. She confirms he is in room 206, so that is your next destination.

Locate Room 206

Remember the vacuum distraction from earlier? You will need it again. Go to the same upper-floor corridor and use the vacuum to distract the guard.

Room 206 is nearby, but the keycard reader is broken and you need another way in. A cleaning lady nearby has the keycard for room 205. Distract her using the vacuum or Dart Phone and steal it.

Enter room 205, go to the bathroom, exit through the window, and platform across to enter room 206 from outside.

Inside, the room is messy. Investigate the objects marked for you, then break into the bathroom where you find a suit labeled XL. This confirms the blond man has changed disguises again.

Pursue The Blond Man

Exit the room and you will be stopped by a maid shocked at the mess. From the balcony you spot the blond man again, now disguised as a chef heading backstage.

Head down and follow him through the corridor and out the window. You will spot him pushing crates, followed by a brief interaction with the maid trying to lockpick a door.

Drop down and follow him into the storage room and then through the kitchen. Continue pursuing him until you reach the dining room, where he disappears.

In front of you is a food trolley with a torn page showing a strange creature combining a lion, goat, and snake. Remember this clue.

Go to the fireplace and interact with the lock, which has six animal dials. Select the lion, goat, and snake in any order to unlock the secret passage.

Head down into the wine cellar. Bond urges Monroe to engage the target as he descends. When Bond arrives, he finds Monroe dead.

As you try to report to Cressida and the team, the blond man attacks you, and now you must fight him.

Neutralize The Blond Man

You will need melee combat to neutralize him, relying on parries and counterattacks. You can also throw him into wine displays to deal extra damage.

When you finish the fight, you notice a timed device, a bomb. As Bond inspects it, another blond man attacks. They are twins, and now you must fight both.

The fight remains similar, but now it is a 2v1. You need to be more careful with positioning, using sidesteps instead of relying only on parries. If your health is low, create distance and recover.

Defuse The Bomb

Just as you gain the upper hand, the twins receive a notification on their watch and escape. Bond still needs to defuse the bomb, so he triggers the fire alarm to evacuate the hotel.

Interact with the bomb, select the battery first to reveal the wires, then cut any two wires to stop the timer.

Just as Bond takes a breath, the place still explodes despite defusing the device. Since they were twins, there were actually two bombs, and Bond only defused one.

Pursue 009

In the ruins, you need to return to the main floor, where everything is in chaos. Greenway urges you to pursue 009 as he attempts to escape.

Outside the hotel, 009 steals a car and flees. Bond breaks into a nearby vehicle and attempts to start it by manipulating the wires.

The mysterious maid from earlier arrives with the keys, but Bond already gets the car running, and the pursuit begins.

Simply drive and maintain a distance behind 009’s car until you reach the destination.

Catch The Plane

009 escapes the car and heads down the hill toward the taxiway, where a plane is preparing for takeoff.

There are many enemies here, but you finally get to use a gun. Eliminate them, preferably by shooting explosive barrels, then move forward toward the plane.

As you approach, it is already boarding 009 and preparing for takeoff. Bond needs to catch up, so he uses a nearby belt loader to reach a stranded wire and board the plane.

Once inside, you find a guard at the flight controls. Take him down and hack the system using the Q-Watch. You can now move the plane side to side to create turbulence while making your way to the cockpit.

When you arrive, Bond tries to open the door but realizes he will not make it in time. He throws his Q-Watch and sticks it to the wall instead.

Bond begins falling and needs to find a safe landing. Fortunately, two crew members have parachutes, but they are hostile, so you must catch one and force him to deploy it.
