007 First Light

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering the Knightfall mission of 007 First Light.

Reach The Perch

007 First Light

After you reach the building, you will take the elevator, but it will not take you all the way to the Perch. You need to take the stairs. However, they are on the other side, and you need to find a way around for Greenway.

007 First Light

Go to the left and then hack the door on the left side to open it. Interact with the screen there to request the cleaning robot. The robot will come from the room across the hall, and you need to quickly go there.

Get To The Stairs

Once inside, hack the door so you will be able to enter as you please. In this room, in the corner behind the white board, you will find a ventilation entrance. Go through it to make it to the bathroom.

Go to the last stall that says “Out of Order” and kick the door. There, you will find a keycard that you can pick up. With this keycard, you will be able to open the door for Greenway.

Take the stairs up to reach the upper floor and then follow Greenway. Feel free to check the offices and pick up any extra batteries and chemicals or interact with documents.

Eventually, you will reach another dead end where the door requires a Level 2 clearance, and you need to find a way to open it or get to the other side.

Find A Way Inside

007 First Light

Behind you, there is a maintenance room that you can break into to gain access. Here, look up and use the laser strip to unlock the vent window. Climb up and go through it.

Before you can even reach the end of it, you will fall off, and there will be a guard waiting for you. There is no time to bluff, so use your laser strip or dart phone and escape quickly, or you can beat him up.

Look back and hack the door to give Greenway access. Continue following him, and of course, you will find another locked door that you need to find a way around. The two of you will lean on the balcony and start talking.

Reach The East Wing

If you use your Q-Lens during the conversation, you will notice there are some ledges that you can hang onto to reach the lounge, double back, and unlock the door.

Make your way to the other side and climb up to reach the opposite side. You will drop down in front of a guard, stun him quickly, and take him down before he calls for reinforcements.

In the next room, there are more guards waiting for you, and you can choose to either sneak past them, take them down stealthily, or beat them up.

Whichever method you pick to deal with the guards, after you’re done, unlock the door for Greenway. Just when you are about to reach the East Wing door, a cleaning robot will come out and open the door for you.

You can both enter, but this will trigger the alarm sensors and activate the lockdown. You need to find a way to bypass it or get around it.

Bypass The Sensors

007 First Light

Look to your right and wait for Greenway to make a comment about the box, then move it. This will create a path for you. Go through the vent there, but here there are two routes.

Start by taking the one to your left. This will lead you to an office where you will reach the main hallway. Go to the end of it, and Bond will step into another set of sensors, which will lock the exit.

Look to your right and hack the door, then go back to the vent and this time take the other exit. Go to the next office on your left and interact with the screen to request the cleaning robot.

This will open the East Wing door, and you will be able to disable the lockdown and let Greenway catch up to you. Follow Greenway to the Perch floor to check whether the entrance is open or not.

The Perch entrance requires clearance, and Greenway suggests checking Webb’s penthouse for a way to gain access or obtain clearance.

Get To The Penthouse

Follow Greenway, and on the way to the penthouse, you will come across some mess and several unconscious bodies. This means that someone else is after Webb as well.

007 First Light

The door that continues the path will be locked, and you need to find a way to the other side. Look behind you, and you will see some bookshelves and an open window. That is how you are going to make it to the other side of the door.

007 First Light

Platform your way up to reach the balcony and climb up to reach the other side of the door. Pick up the keycard from the floor and open the door for Greenway to continue along the path.

Enter The Penthouse

At the end of the hallway, you will find Isola lockpicking the entrance to the penthouse. She is the one who has been sneaking around. She comes up with a plan to help you access the Perch.

007 First Light

The three of you split up, Isola with Greenway and Bond alone, of course. At the penthouse, you will need to activate the staircase to reach the private office on the upper floor.

The power is off, so you need to activate it first. You can do so by interacting with the switch in the power room to your right. Kick both doors open and turn the switch to green to activate the power.

Now interact with the panel, and the staircase will reveal itself. As part of the security protocol, Q-Tech will be disabled.

Locate And Open The Safe

007 First Light

Inside the office, there is a safe, and you need a code to open it. The note that Isola handed you earlier reads “Diploma, Painting, Game, Model”. This is the hint for the code.

Go to the desk and open the drawer to reveal a secret button. Press it to reveal the location of the safe, which is to your right under his portrait. The code is 1493, but we’ll explain how to figure it out.

Around the room, you will find multiple objects that you can interact with, but you need to find the four items mentioned in Isola’s note. Each one of them will have a number that is part of the safe code.

  • Diploma: On the frame on the left side of the room. It mentions that he was first in class.
  • Painting: Behind the diploma hanging on the wall. The title is Basilisk, Rendition #4.
  • Game: On the shelf next to the safe. It is called Hyperion 9.
  • Model: To the left of the desk, which states that it is Site 3.

If you combine all these numbers in the order of Isola’s note, you will get 1, 4, 9, and 3, which gives you 1493.

Open the safe and get the documents from it. You need to find the command code for Isola. Bond will figure out that it is Basilisk.

Stay Hidden

007 First Light

Just when you are about to leave, both Sir Nicholas and his son will arrive, and you need to stay hidden and avoid getting spotted. Stay within range and behind cover to record their conversation.

Bond has four minutes to get out of there before the security override is activated.

Reach The Lift

007 First Light

Go back to the desk and interact with the statue there. This will reveal an escape passage. Go through it and then through the vent to your left, which will lead you back to the executive floor.

From here, you just need to either run past the enemies or defeat them to call the lift and take it to reach the Perch. The lift will be blocked halfway through, and you need to reach the bridge on foot.

Open the door and go through the vent. Climb up to the top and use the zipline to reach the bridge, making it just in time. Isola and Greenway will be waiting for you.

The three of you will be separated again here. Isola will open the door to the West Corridor and continue on her path, while the two of you need to make it to the server center.

Follow Greenway

Follow Greenway toward the server center. They will let Greenway in because he already has his uniform, and now Bond needs to find one of his own.

Exit this room and eavesdrop on the conversation two staff members are having. You will learn that there is a spare lab coat in a locker, but the key is missing. Then one of them will mention that the cleaning robot probably took it to the disposal unit.

To your left, interact with the device to call a cleaning robot, and it will open the door to the office in front of you. Bluff the guy in the office and make your way to the back to reach the vacuum waste disposal box. The key you need is there.

With this key in hand, head to the changing room and look for Locker 6. Take the uniform from there to use as a disguise and go back to the server center.

You will be able to blend in with the other staff members as you make your way to the control room in the upper office and catch up with Greenway.

Obtain The Evidence

Most of the servers are already offline, and you need to find a way to turn them back on manually. Behind you is the server you need to access. You need to perform a manual override in order to gain access.

There is a switch on the side that you can activate before putting the server back online. This will work, and Greenway will be able to access the servers you need.

In the server room, you need to find Servers 1100, 2600, and 3200 and do the same process you just did: activate the manual override and put the server back online.

There are, however, guards around who will attack you on sight, so you can deal with them however you want. Bluff some, take down others, or simply sneak your way around. The choice is yours.

Another thing you need to keep in mind is that while you are hacking a server, one of the staff members might come across it and put it back offline. You will have to turn it back on and deal with the staff member so they do not interrupt the process again.

After you are done with all the servers, head back to the control room and meet Greenway. What Bond and Greenway found was something they never would have expected: all the MI6 black ops were based on confirmed THEIA data.

All this time, you were working from false intelligence, meaning that the intelligence system THEIA makes mistakes, and the reason no one ever figured it out is because Webb covers it up every single time.

The way he does it is by sending Damian to fix the narrative and alter the facts to fit the data, either by changing crime scenes, planting evidence, or framing someone.

And it all leads back to London 2014, to 009, to what happened. It was all a lie. This leaves both Bond and Greenway speechless, but you will be interrupted by Sir Nicholas himself.

Confront Sir Nicholas

You will have a few dialogue options during your conversation with Sir Nicholas, and we do not think these choices really matter in terms of how the story unfolds.

These are the ones we picked: For power, THEIA is broken, and Terrible burden.

After this, Sir Nicholas will have enough of your talking, and the room will begin to fill. Fortunately, Greenway has a missile pen that he will use to break the door.

Reach The Flight Deck

You can escape from here by following the red outlined path on the floor, but the door will be locked. To your right, you can use the missile pen to break the cover and reveal the vent. Go through it.

From here, you need to reach the flight deck in order to escape the building. The path is straightforward but filled with enemies who want you dead. Fight your way through as you make your way to the flight deck.

After you reach it, you will find Greenway hiding inside the helicopter. He needs you to draw the enemy’s attention so he can raise the platform and escape.

007 First Light

Bond needs to do the impossible, which is reaching the control room on his left while a swarm of enemies tries to kill him, then jumping from there and hoping to make it to the helicopter. On top of that, you only have 90 seconds to complete this task.

007 First Light

All we did was run through all the enemies, take the stairs up to the control room, make the jump, and escape with Greenway using the helicopter.
