Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering the Wave of the Future mission of 007 First Light.
The Vietnam mission leads to the loss of another MI6 team member, Greenway. However, Bond does manage to eliminate Webb Jr., Damien, during the operation.
This series of events leaves Sir Nicholas even more furious with MI6, and the consequences of his anger are certain to have a major impact on the agency moving forward.
Table of contents
Back At MI6

M will gather her people and declare that she accepts Webb’s demand and grants him immunity so he does not turn against her, after all, he is a very powerful man.
This makes Bond furious, but he has no say in this. M orders him to go to Moneypenny so she can debrief him and then take a well-deserved rest.

Head to her pod and speak to Moneypenny. Follow her to the lift where you will go to the THEIA platform, during the journey, both of you will have a conversation.
Damien mentions something about HYPERION and it seems to be what got all the THEIA intel since there was no breach at all, like never. Moneypenny does not believe this and urges Bond not to do anything “Bold”.
Steal Field Equipment

Head to Q lab and have a conversation with him, he will offer you to do a toast for Greenway. Q will go back home, while Bond will be alone in the lab.
Remember the promise Bond made not to do anything bad, well, he is James Bond, and he will do it. He decides to steal some field equipment and go after Sir Nicholas.
Get A Q-Watch

First things first, we need to get our hands on a Q-Watch. It is located inside the Stress Testing area, but in order to go in you will need to have Q fingerprints.
The only way to do so is to fabricate them and find what the last thing he touched was. There are three things, actually:
- The glass where you and he shared a drink.
- Behind the whiteboard, you will find a metallic object there is another partial fingerprint.
- The last one is the lift button, which he had to press to leave.

With all three, you will have a believable fingerprint that you can use on the bioscanner to gain access to the room.

The Q-Watch will be sitting on the desk. Go pick it up; however, this will cause a lockdown because Q was not detected, and you need to find a way to leave the room.
Interact with the laser panel and burn both yellow locks, the one on the fireplace and the one on the metal door.

Interact with the fireplace to increase both pressure and temperature, and go inside the room where the car is.
Inside, interact with both panels to initiate a blast sequence and then get inside the car quickly.

The blast will cause a crack in the wall, which you can squeeze through and get back directly to the Gadget Testing area.
Find Gadgets

Since you already got your hands on the fingerprint, head to the Gadget Testing area and unlock it.
Simply interact with the gadget cart and make your loadout. As usual, we went with the Dart Phone, Laser Strip, and the Missile Pen.
Alternatively, if you went for the Q-Watch first, the blast sequence will get you straight inside the Gadget Testing area.
Get A New Service Pistol

Last but not least, you will need a weapon and one can be found at the Armory next to the Shooting Range, make your way there.

In order to unlock the door you will need a code. The code is 1324 and it is actually Walter’s high score in the range. Open it and get yourself a new shiny service pistol.
Go Rogue

With everything at hand it is time to leave Q lab and the headquarters. To your surprise, you will get a call from Isola. She still needs to get to Webb so she asks you to join forces and go after him.
Together, you will make your way to Webb Industries’ fabled R&D facility
Infiltrate The R&D facility

When you arrive at the snowy mountains, follow Isola until you two get separated again. Bond will need to continue platforming his way up to reach the facility.

As you arrive at the base, you will find a few guards around here, sneak past them or defeat them and then go inside the gatehouse. Isola will be waiting for you.

Now, in order to access the cable car, you need staff IDs to board, and of course, Bond will need to take care of it.
Access The Cable Car
Obtain An ID Bracelet For Bond

At the waiting area, eavesdrop on the manager’s phone call, you will learn that an engineer is refusing to get on the cable car because of an anxiety attack. The next thing you need to do is hack his phone.

Stay within proximity so the hacking continues. Unfortunately, the manager’s phone firewall will detect it, and he will activate defensive software to interrupt the hack.

Well, back to the old way, I guess, you need to steal that phone. Simply use Dart Phone or Laser Strip and pickpocket the phone from the manager.

After you have done this, you will need to follow the signal, which will lead you to the bathroom. You will find the engineer locked in the bathroom and Bond will try to convince him to get out.

Sadly, this does not work, and yet again, with the old ways, kick the door and get that ID bracelet for yourself.
Obtain An ID Bracelet For Isola

Head to reception and eavesdrop on the conversation among the staff there. They will mention that one of the new staff just got their ID bracelet and she is sitting in the lounge.

Make your way to the lounge, which is on the other side of this floor. You will find Nora asleep and you need to steal the ID bracelet from her; however, there are witnesses around and you need to get rid of them.

You can sabotage the charging station, use Dart Phone, Laser Strip, or anything to distract them so you can steal the ID.
With both IDs at hand, go back to Isola, and it is time to ride the cable car and make it to the R&D facility.
Locate HYPERION

Progress forward and you will be stopped by a robot staff, the ID scanning will pass so we are good for one.
Ask him about the location of Sir Nicholas and he will mention he is in the Operations Department command center.
Just when you are about to leave, the robot will detect that your face does not match the engineer’s picture.

Thankfully, Isola will stun him quickly so you do not get exposed. Once again Bond and Isola split to have double chances to locate what they came here for, HYPERION and Sir Nicholas.
Before she leaves she hands you a pistol attachment called ESP, it fires an electroshock projectile that will fry any electronics or stun robots.
Locate The Command Centre

Head to Robotics and you will find the elevator is out of order. Use your new ESP attachment and shoot the panel to open the door. Take the lift to reach the Robotics level.

You will be greeted by Ferguson, the head of the department and he wants to show you around. He will ask to head to the platform ahead to test an experiment.
Wreckie, a big ball that you can remotely control from a distance, your task is to move it around and break all four crates.

The next experiment will be to shoot the robot in order to demonstrate how solid it is. Tough stuff, so we hope we will not have to fight these robots am I right?
Anyways, when you are done with both experiments, Isola will radio you and will mention that you need to go to the Utility Area which connects every floor in the building.
Get Into Utility

There are multiple ways to gain access to Utility, but we will guide you through the ones we picked.
To your left, you will notice a woman doing some movement and the robot on the other side is mimicking her movement. There will be a computer that controls the temperature settings; you need to hack it.

But first, deal with the woman nearby on her laptop. You can hack her laptop to get her to move and then hack the controls. This will cause the woman to leave the platform.
Now Bond can get into the platform and the Mimicry system will engage, walk ahead until the robot reaches the glass wall and punch a couple of times so the robot will break it.

Go through the broken wall and hack the terminal to open the door; this will give you access to the lift. Open it and climb up to the left side until you reach the ventilation system.
Meet Up With Isola

Behind the first fan you can hack the fuse box so it will stop working. Now make your way outside and keep platforming and climbing until you reach the balcony marked by the objective marker.

When you are about to reach the balcony, you will notice some security around; you can take them down.
You will find the utility door but it is locked. If you use your Q-Lens, you will see the cable leading you to the panel. Use your new attachments to unlock the door and go inside.

This floor is full of security and, as always, either sneak past them, take them down, or eliminate them; the choice is yours, just make it to the other side.

Isola will be waiting for you behind the door and you need to follow her from here.
At the end of the hallway, one of Webb’s staff will recognize Isola. Bond needs to intervene quickly so her cover does not get exposed.

Continue following Isola to the upper floor, and you will notice that Sir Nicholas and the chief of security have headed to Operations.
The thing is, no one is allowed at the Command Centre except both of them, so you need to find a way.
Access The Command Centre

Another classic 007-style situation, there are multiple ways to get around to reach Security and upgrade your ID bracelet. This time we accidentally stumble upon a creative way to do it.

Take the stairs to reach the lower floor, then go right. Speak to the officer here if you want but remember his location because we will need him for later.

Next to him there is the legal department in which you can eavesdrop on a conversation between the staff here. It seems that they notice that you have no tracking chips because, well, you are not the person.

Now you need to sneak past them and make it to the security memo at the corner of this office. Stun the guard at the door, then crouch and make your way to the computer.

After you are done here, head back to the officer and turn yourself in. You will see the dialogue option “I am David Samerset”. Follow him and he will take you to the security office.

The plan is working and now all you have to do is beat the three men here and then upgrade your ID bracelet at the panel.
Reach HYPERION

Exit the office and head back to Isola, now you will be able to access Operations. Follow her until you reach the balcony. Here you need to rotate with the cat statue to reveal the stairs that will take you down.

Using the computer at this floor you will be able to locate HYPERION, not only that but Isola will manage to reveal a roadmap for overthrowing the British government by Webb, or coup d’état as Bond calls it.

Of course you will be caught, yet again, this time by Roger Finch. He will make the call and put the whole building on alert. Isola took her time to get Finch but now everyone wants you dead.

Bond takes the freight lift while Isola goes to the Penthouse to wait for Webb. There is no need to sneak so we decide to go and eliminate everyone on our way.

Make it to the lift and you will start heading down. More enemies will be coming your way, so you need to deal with them.

After that you will have to fight one of the robots, and you can only lure it to the nearby explosives and then hack it to deal damage; otherwise, weapons do not really penetrate the armor.
Enter Through The Fan

Eventually, you will reach a floor where Wreckie is being held at a device; you need to hack all the panels in order to use it. More robots will be coming your way but this time you can use Wreckie to destroy them.

When you are done with the fighting, direct Wreckie toward the glass wall to destroy it but it will be blocked by some panels.

Bond needs to squeeze in and deactivate both sets using the two control devices on each side of the room.
Use Wreckie to destroy all the new robots here and then direct it toward the fans to destroy it. From here you can climb down. More robots will be around, so use Wreckie to destroy all of them.

Here you will see a rotating device shield and you need to destroy all four generators using Wreckie to disable it. This will grant you access to go even lower and reach HYPERION.

From here, you will need to reach the center pole and descend. You need to disable the barrier shield as you descend deeper by shooting the electronic panel using your new attachment.

Once you make it to the bottom, go through the office and pry open the lift, platform your way around until you reach HYPERION level.

To your surprise, Sir Nicholas is already here waiting for you. He tried to threaten Bond not to kill and it worked; he hesitated because of the bracelet he has.

If he dies, it will leak all MI6 information and Bond does not want to risk this. Just when Bond was helpless, Isola came and shot Sir Nicholas. Now here is the twist: Webb begs you not to let her take the core of HYPERION.
Stop Isola

Isola has been using Bond all this time to achieve her goals, and he has excelled at overcoming all the hard work and distractions. Isola takes the core and escapes; now Bond needs to go after her.
You will get your movie action pursuit where you need to go through the building and pursue her. Isola is making her way to the docks.

After you arrive at the docks, Bond takes a boat and continues the pursuit on water. During this part of the pursuit, you need to avoid or shoot all the icebergs and enemies along the way.

Just when Isola is about to reach the submarine, Bond catches up to her, her submarine goes down and there are planes that come after them. It seems MI6 has finally got to them.
