Chapter 3 of 1348 Ex Voto walkthrough takes Aeta through a forest filled with ruins, raider camps, and environmental puzzles. While progressing towards a tower, you collect mushrooms, papers, and other upgrades such as the San Francesco trinket and Impera Guard sword part.
After completing a series of raider camps, you are required to fight a boss that requires dodging axe swings and draining the stamina before attacking to unlock the Fortitudo skill tree, followed by a cutscene.

Finding the San Francesco Trinket
This chapter begins with Aeta at the beginning of a forest. Head straight, under the log towards the bridge. Go up and cross the bridge and head towards the waterfall.
Climb up the ledges to the left and keep following the path, going under the log and then through the ruins. Head through the archway and then take a left.
You will soon see a tree with mushrooms growing underfoot. Climb up the ledges here and do the little platforming section to pick up some paper. On the crate to the right is a trinket, San Francesco.
Raider Camp
Drop down and go through the small opening to exit the ruins. Head straight up the path and you will hear running water.
Pick up the mushrooms and go under the log to find a raider camp. Take them out.
Watermill
Go up the wooden stairs and into the watermill. You will find that the steps have collapsed, as well as a box to get up, which is blocked by a large beam of wood.
Go around to the back of the mechanism, climb over the obstacle and push the log out of the way of the wheel.
Jump down and push the crate towards the scaffolding and the opening. Climb up and through the exit.
Finding Sword Part ‘Impera Guard’
Go past the fenced path and wade through the water towards the shack on the left, not the house on the right. You can’t enter it yet.
Pick up the paper inside the shack and push the crate outside into the water allowing it go downstream.
Once it reaches the shores of the house. Push it on to ground and towards the scalable wall of the house near the cart wheel.
Climb up and inside to find a sword part, Impera Guard on the table. There are papers you should loot on the shelves as well.
Climb back out and head north up to the ledge.
Raider on the Stone Bridge
Vault over and follow the path and you will find the Tower. Follow the stream and veer left once you see the fallen trees.
Keep climbing here and you will see more mushrooms. Crouch down the fallen log and you will see a stone bridge and a raider.
Take him out and move on.
Lift Puzzles
Once you see the tower, head towards the crates at the base. Push one to the ledge and climb up. Keep going up till you reach the steps. Up ahead is a winch lift. Turn the winch.
Go back down and push a crate on to the lift that you just lowered.
Now go back up and turn the winch to move the box up to the higher platform. Push it to the bottom of the broken steps and climb up.
Go up the stairs and you will see another lift. Jump over to the other side quickly and then onto higher ground.
Raider Camp
Go inside the door with the planks on the right and you will find more raiders. Take them out now.
Raid the camp for supplies and move on to the next site. Take out the three raiders here. Move on through the tent, where you can find supplies as well.
Then crouch through the small opening to find another site. Take out the two raiders here. Pick up the supplies from the tents here. Vault over the log at the end of the site and trigger a cutscene for a boss fight.
Boss Fight
This boss has a nasty overhead swing with his axe, which, when blocked, gives you a punish window.
Sometimes he does two swings with a longer window after he is done. He does a three hit combo, with a left swing and a right swing followed with an overhead swing.
This doesn’t have that long a window for you to attack, so just side step these attacks or move back. Do not overcommit otherwise you will be staggered when he is taking his break and miss the window.
After the scripted clash, rinse and repeat the dodging and weaving and pushing when he tires. You need to run his stamina bar out before you can take him out, so focus on moving out of the way of his attacks, wait for him to run his animation out and wail on him when he is resting. He will block your attacks but it will cost him stamina.
Ending this fight will unlock a new skill tree, Fortitudo. There will be another final cutscene and a short fight.
