In Chapter 4 of 1348 Ex Voto, Aeta is in an area on the outskirts of a ruined villa, where monks have taken over the area. As you move through mausoleums, camps, and paths on the hill, you fight monks and Flagellanti, collecting supplies and documents in the process. After going through the aqueduct and charnel, you get to the villa grounds, defeat the monks in the building, and then follow Bianca’s voice to get upstairs, where a cutscene ends the chapter.
Chapter 4: The Villa
As the brigand leader told you, you are now heading north. On the outskirts of a villa. Watch the cutscene unfold and you will see a monk fighting. After the cutscene ends, go towards the statue and check it out. Take the path left and up the ledges. And go behind the ledge for mushrooms. Opposite the statue is a hole leading to the other side towards the villa walls.
On the other side you will see people being crucified and hanging off the ramparts. Keep to the left and move towards the next statue where you can see another slave strung up. Jump over the fallen log and take the path to the left and you will hear screams. Make your way down and through the mausoleum and up the stairs. Go past the cemetery and pick up the food from the tents. On your left you will see a cart and you will know you have come back around. Cross over the same log again and head to the blocked archway. Go back towards the mausoleum and vault the wall to the right. It’s right before the steps leading down, here to find some hooded monks.
Take them out and go up the ramp on the left. Now head up the stairs. Go up the ledges after you see the villa and you will find another crazy monk. Once he is dealt with, jump down the blue tarped ledge on the left.
Go over the wooden bridge and drop down. You will soon find a fenced path leading to an altar and beyond. Pick up provisions here and keep going down the path. Head down the path and you will see more crazy monks. Take care of them and go inside. Climb up the planks and out the other side. More monks behind the house. There is a path heading south that you need to vault over.
Go over and then up the hill to see a view and three Flagellanti. A difficult fight here but I am sure you will persevere. You must figure out how to parry as soon as you unlock it. Check the view again and then head up the path on the left.
Go through the narrow channel and watch the city in the distance. Turn around and go up the path here and jump over to the other side. You will find a small hut here with paper inside. Go up the path and you will find stairs leading inside the guard tower. Go up and pick up the loot. Jump down to the path again and keep going right. You will see an aqueduct. Cross over inside and you will see a cage on wheels on the right and the blockade. Push the cage on wheels to the left to create a platform. Go back and to the left and you will see a building with exposed brick walls. Head inside and climb up the wall on the right.
Jump and cross over the slabs and the cage on wheels you pushed into place earlier into the charnel house. Crouch down and exit the house. Take care of the monks outside. Head towards the gate and the smoke. Go past the crucifixes and towards the front of the Villa. There will be three monks here setting fire to a bunch of stuff. Take them out. Go up the stairs and inside the villa now. There will be a blood-soaked statue in the foyer and more monks. You can also hear Bianca’s voice in the background.
This is another drawn-out, long fight if you do not know how to parry. Once all the monks are down, head through the gate on the right and up the stairs. You will hear more monks looking for someone. Go through the balcony and in through the door to see a cutscene with Bianca. This will end the chapter.
