Angst: A Tale of Survival Part 5 includes helping the Chronicler and the Air Crash Survivor. The world is filled with different enemies, and taking them out while progressing can be challenging. Repairing the Broken Stove, Crafting Table, Bed, and Safe Storage in a Safe House is crucial. Locate all the required materials to complete the objective with the Chronicler. Carry enough supplies before heading out.

The Chronicler is located in the Southwest region. To reach there, you need to first repair the Southwest bridge using the required materials. Once you reach the far end, you will find an NPC on your left reading a book. Interact with Chronicler and exhaust all the dialogues with him. You need to gain information about the Orb of Torment by helping him. This NPC wants to recover a few belongings of the fisherman’s family.
Your objective here is to give him the Fisherman’s Mysterious Journal from his cabin, his wife’s comb from the abandoned camp, the dog’s collar from the Northern Mine, and the teddy bear from the graveyard.
Get inside the Hardware Shop
Interact with the boxes near this NPC to gain a Painkiller, Stone Axe, and Metal Part. Be aware of the deadly rabbits, as they will attack you to deal damage. Use your Axe to eliminate them without taking any damage. Go to the other side of the lake and continue moving towards the cabin. If you’re running here at night, then more wolves will attack you.
Make your way back to the safe house and sleep on the bed to gain some energy. Cook some food at the stove to fulfill the hunger. Get out of the safe house and keep moving towards the Hardware Shop. Move inside the Hardware Store and explore the room thoroughly.
Move down the stairs and loot all the boxes to gain useful items like Canned Food, Pants, and Snow Shoes. Go out of this store and interact with all the cars to gain Fuse and Metal Part. Open your map and move towards the Northern Island.
Cook Berry Soup
Get inside the main cabin and interact with the stove to cook some food. You need 3xRed barriers and 3x Blue Berries to make the Berry Soup. The red barriers can easily be harvested from the bush while exploring any area. Blueberry bushes are scattered throughout the west side, but there is a large cluster of them that makes harvesting more efficient.
Get Inside the Cave
Place the unnecessary items in the Safe Storage before heading out, so you may have extra space for the new items. Get out of the cabin and make your way towards the cabin. Once inside, continue moving straight while holding the Iron Pickaxe. Mine all the nodes to get the Iron Ore.
An unknown entity will attack you while progressing through the cave. Take out your Iron Knife and start dealing damage till it dies. Block the attacks by holding the RMB and attack the enemy by pressing LMB. Once defeated, continue moving and collect the Notes near it.
Reach the Southwest Ruin
Make your way out of the cave and start progressing towards the cabin. Use 2x Iron Ore to craft the Iron Ingot at the Crafting Table. Get out of the cabin and repair the southwest bridge to get to the abandoned camp. Use 10xRocks and 10x Stone Block to repair the bridge.
Find Air Crash Survivor
Pass through the bridge and continue moving towards the Abandoned Camp. Defeat all the wolves in this area, as they will attack when you get closer to them. Defeating them allows you to gain Wolf Fur and Raw Wolf Meat.
Explore the Graveyard
Return to the Safe House in the Northern region and continue moving towards the lake till you find Water Mill. Get inside and collect the photo from the counter. Continue exploring this area and keep moving towards the left till you find the Air Crash Survivor.
Approach this NPC and interact with him. This survivor lost the package during the air crash. Once you exhaust all the dialogues with him, interact with the trunk of the car on your right to get the Fuse and a Metal Part.
Go past the survivor and collect the note from the bench. Just on your left is the graveyard, and you can get the Teddy bear from here.
Return to Chronicler
Go to the back side of the graveyard and eliminate the enemy over there. Defeating this enemy allows you to gain Frozen Tears. The crash can be somewhere in the northern region, so you have to find it. Continue moving towards the right side of the Safe House to the end.
Make your way back to a Chronicler and interact with him. The fisherman’s story is complete, and the book can now rest on the shelf. Take it to the Watermill and place it on the bookcase, allowing you to find the Orb of Torment.
Locate Crashed Airplane
Keep moving along the lake to reach the Abandoned Camp. Once you make it to the Dead Forest, you will find the Destroyed Airplane. You can find the note and a package here. Bring the package back to the Air Crash Survivor. Loot all the boxes near the crashed airplane to gain useful items.
Bring the package to the Air Crash Survivor
Once you obtain the package, two wolves will attack you. Make sure to take them out and progress further. Make your way back to the cabin because you’re out of warmth and will die soon. Rush towards the cabin and cook the recipe at the stove to gain warmth and hunger.
Get out of the cabin and open your map to mark the waypoint at the graveyard. Continue moving till you encounter the Air Crash Survivor. Interact with him to give the package.
This NPC tells you to locate the abandoned cabin on the hill and use this key to open the locked room to find the Orb of Agony. Interact with the survivor again to gain the next quest. He asks you to bring the Nocturnal Flower using those flowers. That’s where the Angst: A Tale of Survival Walkthrough concludes.
