Heading to the Kitchen

The chapter starts with Anne in her room. Check the open laptop on the bed and pet your cat. It seems that she’s a fan of Akidearest. Check the computer.

When you try to open the door, you’ll see that it’s locked. Flip the lightswitch a couple of times and try to open the door. After a while, you’ll see another video play on the computer screen.
Let the video play out. You can exit the room once it ends.

You’ll find a CD on the floor near the front door.

Go to the Kitchen next. The layout of the house is the same as before. Note that the handle on the Basement door is missing.
You’ll see a large birthday cake on the table in the Kitchen dining table. Interact with it.

A bunch of shadows will start appearing around the room.

Once they disappear, you’ll see a note in front of the cake. There’s also a stick figure next to the cake. Interacting with it tells you that something can be attached here.
To solve this puzzle, you need to find three Doll Parts: Top, Middle, and Bottom.

But before you head out, go into the Kitchen area and pick up the document (XXXL) from the countertop.
How to find the Doll’s Bottom Part

After exiting the Kitchen, go to the Living Room on the bottom floor. Enter the room, and you’ll see the TV turn on for another video. The door is locked until the video ends.

Go to the Master Bedroom next. It’s on the second floor. You’ll find the Doll Part on the cabinet in front of the bed.

Head into the walk-in closet of the Master Bedroom and walk to the end to find an Elysium Symbol on a box on your right.
How to find the Doll’s Middle Part
You’ll next want to head to the Attic at the top floor of the house.

On the cabinet, just before the Attic Door, you’ll find a CD. Pick it up and then head inside.

You’ll see some destroyed paintings as Anne enters through the door.

Go into the small Attic room. You’ll find the Doll’s Middle Part on the stool in front of the piano.

Before you go looking for the final part, head inside the Laundry Room. Crouch to the other side of the wooden beam and walk forward. You’ll find another CD on the floor.
How to Find the Doll’s Top Part

Now that you’ve got two parts in your hand, head back to the corridor before the Kitchen. The door to the Basement will fly open.

Head down the stairs and go through another door to enter an empty room. You can see an Elysium Symbol on a container up ahead.

Turn left to spot a document (The First Video) on a shelf.

At this point, the light in the room will begin to flicker. You’ll find a set of Batteries on the table to reload your Flashlight. Pick it up.

Turn your Flashlight on. The door is locked. You’ll notice an opening in the wall. Interact with it to head through.

On the other side, you’ll spot an air vent that you can crawl through. Continue along the air vent.

Keep moving forward after coming out of the vent. You’ll spot a Mini Anne Doll on your right in the room.

Crawl into another vent at the end of the room. You’ll spot an Elysium Symbol on your left and another Mini Anne Doll up ahead inside the vent.

Once you exit the vent, you’ll find yourself in another larger room. There’s a document (Failed Again) that you can pick up on your left.

Continue moving along, and you’ll find the Doll’s Top Part on a shelf at the end of the room.
Escaping the Basement

After collecting the final part, make your way back to the vent and continue moving forward. After a few steps, you’ll catch a glimpse of the white-masked figure from earlier inside the vent.

Turn left and keep moving through the vent. Anne will close the hole behind her once she exits.

Run to the other end of the room to spot a document (Lost in Doubt) on a table. Pick it up.

Crouch down to spot a path under the table to the next room. But as soon as you step through, the white-masked figure walks back in. Stay under the table to not get caught.
The next section can be pretty tricky. The Basement exit is in the next section, but it’s being patrolled by the monster. The monster will walk around the area and will charge towards you if it sees you. So you need to be sneaky.

There are two sections here. The left section leads to the exit, but there’s a pool of electrified water blocking your path. To get past it, you need to turn off the power. The power control is on the right side of the zone.
If the monster starts chasing you, you can always run back under the table and wait for it to walk away.

When you’re ready, cross under the table into the next room and take the door on the right. Run to the other end to spot a section blocked off by wooden beams. There’s enough space under the beams for you to crawl through.

Go into the room. There’s a document (Friendship Fumbles) on the crate on your left. When you’re ready, interact with the panel to shut off the power.

Now you can either just run for it or sneak past the monster. Head to the left section of the zone, and you’ll spot a set of stairs leading up. Use the red lights as your guide to find it.

Continue running forward, and you’ll come out through the cupboard on the second floor, just in front of the Master Bedroom.

Go back to the Kitchen at the bottom floor and use the three Doll Parts on the stick figure next to the cake. You’ll see a short cutscene, and the chapter will end.
