Welcome to our walkthrough for Bye Sweet Carole. We’ve saved Mr. Baeisie’s Head and also managed to get hold of the letter that eluded Lana for so long. But when Miss Hinmen, the principal of Bunny Hall, doesn’t pay much attention to Carole’s disappearance, Lana has no choice but to let the matter go for the time being.

Unheard by the others, Lana Bennet realizes that finding the mysterious boy is the only way she’s going to get some real answers.

The Dormitory

You wake up in your bed in the dormitory. After the initial cutscene, your objective is to follow the mysterious boy.

Head past the empty beds and exit the room through the door on the right.

In the next room, you’ll see a short cutscene of the boy escaping through the window. But as luck would have it, he drops a letter as he leaves.

Run down the staircase to reach the letter. You now know that the name of the mysterious boy is Marcel.

After the cutscene, head down the second set of stairs to reach the ground floor. Go through the door on the left.

This brings you to another dormitory. Keep walking forward, and Lana will call out to the girls, but no one will answer.

As you walk towards the exit on the left, Vicky bursts out of the closet at the end. She looks scared and asks for your help.

It turns out, it’s not Vicky, but rather Mr. Kyn in disguise.

Sprint for the exit on the right before Mr. Kyn catches up to you.

Run past the stairs and hide in the locker near the window. Once Mr. Kyn disappears, get back in the dormitory on the ground floor. Keep walking slowly toward the left side exit.

Note the hiding spot between the beds. As you run towards the left side of the room, Mr. Kyn might appear again. You can use this hiding spot to escape.

Exit through the door on the left to reach the classroom.

The Classroom

Take a few steps forward and a cutscene will trigger. You need to find a way to get into the Class A1 to rejoin the girls. But there’s a combination lock on the door. The combination lock also has a missing tile.

Keep walking forward. As you mantle over a locker, Mr. Kyn will come into the room triggering another chase.

Run to the exit on the left.

This takes you to a room with a staircase. There are doors on each floor. But for now we recommend running straight for the top floor and head into the room on the right.

You’ll find an empty locker here that you can use to hide from Mr. Kyn. Once he disappears, use the Old Mailbox to save your game.

On your right, you’ll find the path locked by a security grill. Inspect the nearby panel and the note on the wall. Now head back to the previous room with the stairs. We’ll check the two doors on the left.

The Showers

From the staircase room, you’ll see two doors on the left, one on the second floor and one on the ground floor. They lead to two separate showers. Let’s head to the ground floor shower first.

You’ll reach a small room. There’s a device up ahead with a crank. Check the note on the wall next to it. It tells you that the water flow alternates between the two floors. You can use the crank to decide which floor gets water. But to do that, you must first activate the devices.

Head through the door on the left.

This takes you to the ground floor shower room. On the left side of the room, you’ll see a hanging handle that you can’t reach. Push the stool under teh handle and try to activate it.

Nothing happens. There is no water in the pipe.

Head back to the staircase and go through the door on the second floor. You’ll find the alternator device outside the shower room.

Enter the shower room. You’ll find a box of matches on the sink. Pick it up.

Continue heading left and vault over the first wall.

Break the wooden boards at the bottom. Then switch to your bunny form and head towards the left side of the room.

Inspect the drain and the sign. The sign tells you that using the shower on the right causes water to drip through the drain to the floor below.

Exit the shower room and use the Matchbox with the alternator on the second floor. Complete the QTE to light up the box above the crank.

Rotate the crank until the flame is bright to turn on water on the second floor.

Enter the second floor shower room and turn on the first shower.

This reveals a hidden message on the mirror: 9 5 7. You’ll need it for the combination lock in the Class A1’s door.

Head to the left side of the shower room and activate the faucet on the wall. Exit the second floor shower.

As soon as you reach the staircase, you’ll see a girl hanging on to the ledge. When you try and help her, she falls off.

Head downstairs, towards the body. It’ll transform into Mr. Kyn. Like before, run away and hide in a corner until Mr. Kyn loses track of you.

When it’s safe, go back to the staircase room and enter the left door on the bottom floor. Use the Matchbox to light the alternator and but don’t use the crank. Instead head to the left side of the shower room.

Get on the stool and use the hanging handle as Lana. This will cause water to burst from the pipe above and create a hole on the wall.

Push the stool all the way to the left towards the wall. Transform into your bunny form and jump into the hole.

The Sewing Room

You’ll drop through a hole in the ceiling. You can see the door to the sewing room and a locker nearby. But there’s a padlock on the locker and a security gate on the sewing room door.

Head left and interact with the panel to lift the security gate. This also lifts the security gate in front of the sewing room. Enter the sewing room.

Lana will tell you that this is where Miss Hinmen keeps her locker key. So you’re in the right place.

Rotate the crank up ahead to lift the grill.

Transform into the bunny and head right. Lana will suddenly realize that she dropped her ribbon.

But as you go back to pick it up, another monster comes in.

Run to the right before the monster catches up to you. Jump between the walls and continue moving forward as quickly as possible.

You’ll eventually be able to hide behind a cabinet. But the monster will still lurk nearby looking for you. There’s a switch on your right, but it’s not powered.

Wait for the monster to walk away, and then make your way to the dress on the left. You’ll notice a switch nearby.

Pressing the switch causes the dress to start moving. You need to move along with it so that the monster doesn’t see you.

You’ll step on a pressure plate on the ground, which activates the switch on the right.

Return to the switch and activate it without while avoiding the monster’s line of sight. This activates a dumbwaiter on the far-left side of the room.

Use the dress as cover and make your way to the left section. You’ll notice another switch here.

Pressing the switch creates a flash that blinds the monster for a moment.

When the monster is blinded jump over the table and interact with the dumbwaiter to reach the next floor.

When you get to the next floor, head right. Note the swtich on the wall. This creates a delayed flash that you can use to blind the monster.

Keep moving to find the Locker Key on a table up ahead.

As you head toward the dumbwaiter, the monster will charge in from the air vent on the left.

Quickly run towards the switch and press it. As soon as it flashes, run towards the monster and jump in thorugh the air vent.

Drop down and continue running left.

After recovering your ribbon, use the crank to lock the shutter.

Exit the sewing room.

Use the Locker Key to unlock the Miss Hinmen’s locker. You’ll find the Padlock for “Class A1” Door inside.

Unlocking the Classroom

You now have the missing padlock and also the combination code you needed to unlock the Class A1 door. Go left. This will trigger another short cutscene and Mr. Kyn will start to chase you again. Hide from him until he loses sight of you.

Return to the classroom door and use the Padlock for “Class A1” Door on the lock.

Enter the code 9 5 7 to unlock the door and head inside.

This will trigger another cutscene, and the chapter will be over.
