Cairn is a survival-climbing adventure game developed and published by The Game Bakers (creators of Furi and Haven). Released on January 29, 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5, Cairn challenges players to ascend the deadly, never-before-summited Mount Kami in a deeply immersive, realistic rock-climbing experience. In this part of the walkthrough we cover the climb through The Waterfall, The Village, The Standing Stones, The Child.
Day 3: The Waterfall
Exiting on the left of the biouvac after topping off all your meters, you will find a steep climb ahead.

This isn’t a difficult ascent so once you get up there you will see a cutscene. This was my path –

Go up the path on the right.

Once you see the mountain goat, turn to the right and at the end of the cavern you will find a bivouac. Save and rest up. Once you are done, head back up again. You can go up the central shaft or head outside and go up.
Day 3: The Village
This was my path up –

Keep going up and you will trigger a cutscene and be introduced to Marco. Once you make it halfway up the channel you can go up the colored path or check out the door on the other side.

If you are curious like I was go to the top and go to the other side and rappel down. You will find a kid’s room on that side. You can have a quick rest and find coffee and sugar in a cooling pot.

On the bed is a letter. Go back up to the ledge. On the top left corner is another doorway.

Again this is optional to climb since this room connects via the stairs of the main path. You can also check the classroom on the other side. There isn’t anything of much interest. Just save at the bivouac behind the statue. Keep going till you reach a cave full of stalactites. Look up to see the exit.

This was my path up.

Go through the small bedroom and then past the waterfalls. In the next room at the far end you will find glowing gloves and a backpack. The backpack has chalk and chocolate.

Break the small limestones behind the backpack and crawl through. Go through and you will find anoter bivouac in the bathing room. You can also find a troglodyte map in this room. It documents three parts of a statue hidden all of the mountain.

On the other side you need to climb a sheer cliff up now.

This was my path –

Go to the left now and save at the bivouac. You are at the Standing Stones now.
Day 4: The Standing Stones
Rest up and you will see a cutscene inside the tent. If you had picked up the map from the village below you will find two sections of the map covered.

If you go to the far right you will find a ravaged bivouac, a backpack and a camera. There is a giant statue on your left here. The backpack has noodles, drink and coffee.

Day 4 – The Child
I started climbing the statue. I used the green path.

This was my path up the statue, I lit two fires along the way.

Inside the statue’s head, you will reach a cavern. You can drop down below and pick up the stuff in the backpack down there. There isn’t anything of much interest. But the goal is to get across to the other side of the chasm – so take the right wall for an easier time to get across.

Once you cross over, at the far end of the room you can find a Troglodyte Piton. Its indestructible.

Next, save at the bivouac and rest.
