Call of the Elder Gods follows Evangeline Drayton and Harry Everhart on their adventure. So far, they’ve explored the caves in Virginia to find another statuette, which gets stolen by the Starry Wisdom Society, and then they head to Spitzbergen, where they encounter the Great Engineer. The two of them are finally heading towards the mysterious Pnokotus, and that’s where the story will come to a climax.

Pnakotus
As you arrive in the desert area, you’ll find Pnakotus shortly ahead. However, the gate is locked shut. There are some camps set up by the Starry Wisdom, but it appears that none of them are actually here.
You’ll find out that they had been working for a long time to figure out how to open up Pnakotus. They used some light waves.

There’s also a circular platform with four spheres in the middle of the area, and it appears that it is the key to opening up the main gate.
You’ll also find some mirrors here. You’ll have to use the mirrors to redirect the light to the other circular platforms. Additionally, there are some symbols in the area as well.

First Symbol
From the main entrance to the area, if you go to your immediate left, you’ll find a symbol on a wall. There’s a path that leads upwards.

If you keep going on the path, you’ll find a ladder. Just beyond the ladder, you’ll find another symbol. This is the first symbol due to the lack of details in it.

Now, get on top of the ladder and activate the mirrors. This will unleash a ray of light. You have to redirect this light to the circular platform on the wall in the main area.
The second mirror is in front of the ladder, but the third one is on top of a cliff. There’s a path next to the second mirror that leads you to the third mirror via a cave. When you get there, adjust the mirror to direct the light on the fourth mirror.

From there, you can see the light fall on the circular structure on the wall. This will cause the spheres to move. The structure will show the third and fourth spheres running in circles, but there’s a 90-degree gap between them.

Return to the circular puzzle in the middle. Set the third sphere from the centre first. Keep a close eye on it. As soon as it crosses 90 degrees, set the fourth sphere loose.

A symbol will appear on top of the puzzle. You can use the three levers to rotate these symbols to match the ones that you’ve found on the walls. Rotate it to match the first symbol that you saw earlier and press the triangle button on the puzzle. This will activate a lift.

Now, return to the ladder. Turn the second mirror towards the mirror near the sign. Now, you have to point the light upwards. There’s a circle on the top of the wall, aim the light at it.

Now, get on top of the platform next to the symbol. There’s a diamond-shaped button here. Press the button and the elevator will activate.

Second Symbol
On top of the elevator, you’ll find another circular platform with a sphere on it. Shine the ray of light on the sphere, and you’ll get the sphere’s position for the second symbol.

Return to the puzzle in the main area. Here, you have to launch the second sphere from the centre 90 degrees behind the fourth sphere.

Remember that you must not stop the spheres that are already moving. This could ruin the puzzle, and you’ll have to get the timing right again to get it working again.
If you do it correctly, some more markings will appear on top of the platform. You have to rotate these markings to match the second symbol and then press the triangle button.

This will unlock a gate where you can go and figure out the spheres’ position for the third symbol.

Third Symbol
Return to the first mirror near the ladder. When you get there, you’ll find a mirror below, down the hole in the floor.

Shine the light on the mirror there, and go through the gate that opened after you successfully figured out the second symbol on the puzzle.
This will show you the spheres’ position for the third symbol.

Return to the main puzzle. Launch the first sphere parallel to the second sphere. If you do that, the third marking will appear. You can then rotate it and press the triangle button to get the main gate to open.

Confrontation
As you enter the structure, there’s a path going down and some rubble ahead. If you go through the rubble, you’ll find a cube here. Unlocking the cube will give you an achievement. However, to progress, you’ll have to go down.

When you go downwards, keep following the path until you arrive at a ray of light, which is the Yithian traversal method. Interact with the ray of light, and you’ll reach the tower.

You’ll find Bowel here, who’s already conducting a ritual. You can pick the option to let Evangeline stop Bowel by diving into the black ooze, or sacrifice Harry.

I picked the option where Harry chooses to sacrifice himself instead of Evangeline. This will cause Harry to arrive in an alternate dimension.
Keep walking here. You’ll hear Norah’s voice guiding you. You’ll then eventually reach a set of photo frames, where Harry will talk to Norah.

Shortly after the conversation, you’ll return to the present. Caleb Bowen is here as well, but it appears that Doctor West has taken over his body for the time being.
Doctor West will then thank Harry and Evangeline for closing the loop, and the ending cutscenes will follow.
