Call Of The Elder Gods Walkthrough

Call of the Elder Gods tells the story of Harry Everhart and Evangeline Drayton, who get tangled in the mystery of a strange statuette and the black liquid oozing from it. Evangeline wants to find the answers for her dreams, and for that, she’ll have to find Harry Everhart, who’s going through some tough times as a mysterious organization is after him.

Dream

As the game begins, you’re playing as Evangeline Drayton, who’s in her dreams. Inside this lush forest, you’ll have to keep going forward until you find a stone building.

If you go to the top of this building, you’ll find a strange statuette here, which appears to be holding a black orb. Interact with the statue, and Evangeline will wake up in her room.

Now, you can look around the room to gather more information. There’s a notebook on the table. If you interact with it, you’ll find a lock on it.

The lock has three objects. Rotate the two semi-circles inwards, so that the hollowed out part is facing the inside. Now, rotate the middle part in such a way that it fills the hollowed-out part of the other two objects.

After that, press the button on the notebook to open it up. You’ll find some diagrams of ancient creatures in it.

An Invitation

Once you’re done checking out the notebook, the nearby phone will start to ring. When you pick it up, you’ll find the dean of archaeology at Miskatonic University on the other side of the phone.

Harry Everhart will invite Evangeline to come and meet him at the Everhart Mansion. Evangeline decides to trust the professor and heads out for Everhart Mansion.

You can then interact with the door inside Evangeline’s room to head out after you’ve checked out everything that you need to.

Therapist

You’ll now play as Harry Everhart, who’s currently taking a therapy session from a strange old man. The old man uses hypnosis to stir Harry’s memories.

Harry Everhart will then think about the last Christmas he spent with his wife, Norah Everhart. You’ll then play as Norah Everhart in Harry’s memory, as she tries to solve the scavenger hunt.

Scavenger Hunt

As Norah Everhart, you’ll first have to check the bells hanging from the Christmas Tree. These bells have a number and a shape on them. Once you’ve checked every bell, you can look around the room for more clues.

There’s a piano in the middle of the room. Some of the keys here are broken, while the other ones work. These keys have the shapes drawn on them, the same shapes that you saw on the bells, written with a number.

After you’re done with the piano, you’ll end up with three digits. You’ll have to use these three digits: 1, 4, 6, on the safe inside the room.

Once you do that, the safe will open, and you’ll find the statuette inside it. However, Harry realizes something is wrong and calls out the therapist, who turns out to be after the statuette as well.

Chapter 1: The Everhart Manor

As Evangeline arrives at the Everhart Manor, she finds no signs of Harry. Her instincts tell her to look for the man inside the manor. While the front gate is locked, there’s a window open.

Go through the garden to reach the window. You’ll be able to get inside the house from there. Once inside, you have to go right. Keep going forward until you reach the library.

Gathering Information

Harry Everhart isn’t inside the manor. Now, you’ll have to look for clues. There’s a skull and a pamphlet on the table, showing the growth of a human being.

Look around in the library. You’ll find a gate locked here. There’s another gate inside the library that will lead you to Harry’s office.

Look for clues here. There’s a key inside the drawer of the table. Pick up the key, and you can unlock the door in the library with it.

You’ll also notice a bookshelf that’s full of strange books, but there’s also a book missing from here.

A New Path

If you open the locked door in the library, you’ll enter the other section of the manor, which leads to the greenhouse. The note in Harry’s office suggests that one of the books is hidden there.

Inside this section, you’ll find stairs leading upwards and a gate that leads you to the outside. Look around inside this part of the manor, and you may find portraits with strange titles on them.

These titles match the titles of the books inside the strange shelf. Furthermore, some of the portraits will be missing the pictures from the frame. You can find the pictures also inside the area.

Once you’ve looked up everything, you can go outside. Everything gets stored in your journal, so you don’t have to remember anything word-for-word.

Path To The Greenhouse

If you head out from the gate inside the manor, you’ll find the greenhouse in the distance. You can get there, but on the way, you’ll find some large urns that can be rotated.

There are a total of five urns. Once you reach the greenhouse, you’ll find it locked. However, from the notes, you’d know that the key is hidden in the mausoleum. Move a little further ahead of the greenhouse, and you’ll find the fifth urn here.

There’s also a gate here with different faces and shapes. Each of these faces represents an urn, and the shapes are what you have to rotate the urns towards.

Rotating The Urns

The fifth urn is nearby, and you have to rotate it towards the moon symbol. The moon symbol is on the gate with the strange faces and shapes, so you have to make the urn face the gate.

The fourth and third urns are on the other side of the greenhouse. The fourth urn is inside a white sitting space. One of the pedestals here has remains of fire that has been burnt out. You have to make the urn face the remains of the fire.

The third urn is near the statue of Norah Everhart. There’s a chopped tree here, and you have to rotate the urn towards the chopped-down tree. You can also encounter an image inside the manor that shows the mark on the tree before being cut.

The second urn is behind the greenhouse. It is supposed to face a flower-like symbol. You can find the symbol behind the greenhouse, so you have to turn the urn towards it.

The first urn is near the second one, on the other side of the bridge. You’d have already come across it first on your way to the greenhouse from the manor. The urn is supposed to face a fish-like symbol, but there’s nothing nearby. Here, you have to pull the bucket out of the well. You’ll find the symbol on the bucket. Make the urn face towards it.

Once you’ve adjusted all the urns, return to the gate and interact with the lock on it. It will open up. If you go inside the maosuleom, you’ll find the key to the greenhouse, as well as the last portrait here.

The Shelf

Unlock the greenhouse, and you’ll find the last book inside it. Pick it up and return to Harry’s office. Here, you’ll have to adjust the books in order.

The portraits that you’ve encountered have been of people of different ages. You have to piece them together from the youngest to the oldest and arrange the titles on the shelf in that order.

Once that’s done, it will reveal a hidden compartment behind the shelf. You’ll find the image of a fireplace here.

Harry Everhart

Now, you have to find the fireplace inside the library. Interact with its pillar, and that will reveal a hidden compartment behind the fireplace.

If you follow the path, you’ll find Harry Everhart lying knocked out, and there’s also the remains of the statuette. It appears that Harry had destroyed the statuette.

Harry wakes up as soon as Evangeline approaches the remains of the Statuette, stopping him from touching the black liquid.

Evangeline will then have a long conversation with Harry, where she manages to convince him to take her to Virginia, where she suspects that the duo may find more statuettes like the one that was destroyed. This will also end Chapter 1 of the story.
