Chapter 3 (Exploring)

After giving Olivia the tea, use the Children’s Song on her. You now have a thought puzzle to solve, which you can solve on your own… or you can consult the screenshot below.

After the conversation that follows, Lucy will be in the alley. Our goal now is to collect information and investigate the forest and the missing people. This means, of course, talking to people – so go ahead and do just that. This guide will not detail each of the dialogue lines that go into the clues, so just make sure you exhaust all your dialogue options and talk and talk again.

While you’ll end up talking to most of the characters to complete the puzzles in this chapter anyway, don’t forget the old woman sitting near the river, who can add to your notebook with her knowledge.

To proceed with the puzzles in this chapter, it is best to first learn Mom’s Song and gain the ability to do Object Puzzles, which is what we’ll cover in the next section of the walkthrough.
