Chapter 3 (Shears)

To get the shears, first go to the the farm, examine the caged up rabbits to the right of the entrance gate. Use your hammer (which you acquired in the toolbox along with the hook) on the lock that’s on the rabbit cages.

The rabbits will escape, causing the farmer to chase after them, which gives you time to get some cherries from the tree to the right of the farmhouse. However, to reach the cherries, you’re going to have to get taller real quick. You can do this (or the equivalent of this) by getting a crate to stand on.

You can find the crate in the area behind the barn, where the old woman who taught you Mom’s Song was formerly sitting. Pick up the crate and while you’re at it, also pick up the rake that’s against the wall in the background. This will come in handy very soon.

Return to the farm and use the crate on the tree to stand up and get a nice, hefty branch of cherries off.

Take the branch of cherries over to Sunny and give them to her.

Also give her the rake, so that she can pretend to work while she gorges on cherries.
