Chapter 4 (Oil, Hammer)

For the valve lubrication problem, pick up the oil that can be found in the house, on the same table where you found the first cork. (If you can’t seem to pick it up, first make sure that you’ve tried to turn the valve in the alley. Lucy won’t have a reason to pick up the oil otherwise.)

To help keep the corks in place, go back to Lucy’s room and pick up the wooden hammer on her desk.

When you have both the bottle of oil and the hammer (and of course, all three corks), return to the alley.

Use the bottle of oil on the red valve and then interact with the valve to shut off the flow of water.

Now use the corks on the two holes that are on the same pipe as the valve. These will plug the holes well.

Remember to hammer them in! Unfortunately, the pipe in the back has a hole too big for your corks, so you can’t plug it just yet.
