Cloudheim – Dustlanger Act 3 Walkthrough

Cloudheim

Cloudheim takes you on a journey on the Odin’s Shell, where you have to discover and explore new regions and awaken the slumbering gods there. Each region comes with its own adventures, and doing so will restore power to the gods that once ruled that land. For more information on Cloudheim, you can check out their official website here.

After awakening the Vitikki, you still have to restore her to power, and for that, you’ll have to fight against some challenging enemies and conquer dungeons.

Conquering Fort Grobb

Once Vitikki is awakened, talk to Leif. He’ll tell you that the Grobbs in the region worship a Trogg, who has proclaimed himself as a god-king. Now, you have to go and defeat him, but before that, you’ll have to weaken the Grobbs a little.

For this quest, you’ll have to take out 9 artillery and 4 healing towers in Fort Grobb. For the artillery, you’ll just have to attack it, and if you have an explosive skill, such as the Ice Blade’s mushroom grenades, you can quickly use them to destroy the artillery, one at a time.

The healing towers are a bit different. You have to use your lasso to pull out the four spheres in each direction on a tower. Once you’ve pulled out each of the four spheres from the tower, it will stop healing nearby Grobbs.

If you’re having trouble locating the artillery or the healing towers, roam around Fort Grobb. The artillery will show up as a quest marker whenever you’re near one, while you can track the healing tower by the periodic sound of its healing waves.

Crumbling Halls

Once you’ve destroyed the artillery and the healing towers, you’ll have to go to the Crumbling Halls. The Crumbling Halls is a dungeon in the nearby region.

You can find it by following the quest marker or by approaching the gigantic skeletal remains in the area. There will be many enemies guarding the gate. Defeat them and enter the dungeon.

Exploring The Crumbling Halls

From the entrance, keep moving straight ahead. There will be a few enemies, and you have to keep going after defeating them.

As you keep progressing, you’ll encounter a locked gate. This area has three mechanisms that you’ll have to attack in quick succession. However, each of these mechanisms is hidden.

You have to break several walls in this section, and only after that will you be able to uncover all three of them. Once you do so, attack each of them one after the other to unlock the path ahead.

The next tricky chamber splits into two. You can either go downstairs directly to fight against several enemies in a large hall, or you can go up, which will also lead you to the same hall, through a different entrance.

However, if you take the path going up, just after going up the stairs, you can walk over the fallen pillar to reach the third floor, where you’ll find two treasure chests. After opening them, you can return to the hall to fight against the enemies.

Defeat all the enemies in the hall to open the gate. There will also be a mini-boss enemy here. After that, keep progressing ahead until you reach the Trogg King’s chambers.

Fighting Against The Divine God-King Braul

As you enter the boss’s chambers, you’ll find him accompanied by two other mini-bosses. You’ll have to fight against all three of them at once.

However, despite the big title, the boss behaves just like any other regular Trogg that you’ve encountered on your journey, and shouldn’t pose too much of a risk.

Defeat the boss, and you’ll find the exit to the dungeon shortly ahead, accompanied by a large treasure chest. After that, you’ll have to return to Leif.

The Traitor

After you return to Leif and talk to him, he’ll tell you that Vitikki has created a way for you to reach the colosseum. He asks you to go there and fight against the traitor who betrayed the Fennec God.

You’ll then have to step into the gigantic cyclone just behind Leif, and it will take you up towards the colosseum. Here, you’ll find a Bifrost Gate that will take you to the Vieled Colosseum dungeon.

After arriving in this dungeon, you’ll have to jump on the jump pad and go through a few rings to arrive at the actual colosseum, where the battle will take place.

Fighting Against The Dustwraith

As soon as you enter the area, you’ll notice a bell and a circle on each side. Each of the circles has three markings on it, which means that you’ll have to kill at least three enemies inside the circle.

There’s no way for you to physically deal damage to the Dustwraith. You’ll have to rely on the bell to do it for you. You’ll have to ring the bell up to three times to defeat the boss.

However, the boss gets progressively stronger after each ring of the bell, and the enemies also get a little more challenging to deal with.

If you take too long to kill the enemies and fail to ring the bell, the boss will unleash an unavoidable, lethal attack that will knock you out of the dungeon, even if you have extra lives available, and you’ll then have to redo the whole battle.

Use your lasso and your kick skill to make sure the enemies are defeated inside the circles. After killing three enemies in each of the two circles, go and ring the bell, and then repeat the process two more times to defeat Dustwraith.

The Shrine’s Blessing

After defeating Dustwraith, you can return to Dustlanger. On your way to the dungeon’s exit, you’ll encounter Fennec’s bell and a chest.

Once you’re back in Dustlanger, you can check out the Weapon Blessing Shrine near Leif’s location. Just like how it worked when you awakened Grimsladd, you’ll be able to use the Weapon Blessing Shrine’s ability only once to gain a special weapon.
